Anyone who books a holiday on Usedom “MUST” come to the Hotel and Restaurant Kaliebe.The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast every morning and loved the convenient location close to the beach and other locations.The highlights are the great extras that you can book, whether massages, bike rental or, for romantics, the Schmusedom menu 😋, 4 courses full of culinary explosion. So here again a big compliment to the kitchen.The restaurant is one of the best with a large selection of good wines 😉.Conclusion: gladly again ☺️

We stayed in one of the log cabins with our dog. The service is very good, the breakfast is rich and fresh. The dinner was very tasty.The path to the beach (& dog beach) can be reached directly through the small forest in 4 minutes. Wonderful location.We even extended our stay because we liked it so much.Made trips in all directions by bike. Really a nice place to relax.

Great rooms, everything clean and tidy and the location in the forest is simply beautiful.The highlight was also the breakfast, with fresh bread, vegan options and really warm service.We only found the prices for parking at €7.50 per day to be a bit expensive…Nevertheless, we would love to come back!

We spent a wonderful week in the log cabin. Because we really enjoyed it, we extended it by one day.We had a wonderful holiday and we didn't miss anything.

Our 6-day stay at the Hotel Kaliebe in Trassenheide ended today. Our first vacation on Usedom. The island is a densely forested dream with beautiful, fine sandy beaches. And the hoteliers are paying a correspondingly high price for this. Finding spontaneous accommodation in the high season was difficult unless you were prepared to pay a fortune. And the Kahliebe was expensive enough: 6 nights, 3 adults, 1 dog, 2300 euros!), especially since we can't understand the 4 stars of the hotel because we can make a lot of comparisons to hotels that deserve their 4 stars. It's true, the breakfast is varied and very tasty, we even had our favorite morning dew tea from Ronnefeld. Fruit, vegetables, excellent rolls. In short: delicious all around. A big compliment and thank you to the very friendly service team. The terrace and dining room are nice to look at. The location of the hotel in the dense pine forest with access to the beach is also wonderful. Unfortunately, there is no opportunity to lie down in the sun at the hotel, but there are huge, paid parking spaces, even for non-hotel guests. Our rooms (comfort) were ok, as were the beds - apart from the pillows that were way too squishy and unfriendly to the neck. But: We only visited the restaurant on the day we arrived, especially since the menu was uninspired and, above all, the prices were completely exorbitant. So it's no wonder that there was nothing going on here in the evening, which is a shame, because the terrace, integrated into the beautiful gardens with a log cabin sauna in the background, is worth the fact that it is well visited, and not just for breakfast. The fact that the hotel accepted dogs and even provided treats and a blanket was a nice touch. The bread and water bottles for the return journey were also not a given. But the fact that our dachshund, for whom we had his pillow with us, who doesn't shed and doesn't leave any mess behind, costs 20 euros per day is a disgrace. We know hotels that differentiate here: 5, max. 10 euros for small dogs and twice as much for large dogs. It makes a difference whether I have a 9 kg dog in the room that neither sheds nor drools, or a 40 kg Rottweiler. Then it is absolutely unacceptable as a hotel guest to pay 7.50 euros per day for a parking space , in the middle of the countryside, not in the center of a metropolis? And the fact that the rooms are only cleaned every 2 days doesn't suit a hotel that basks in supposed 4 stars. Since we didn't throw our towels on the floor after day 1, we had to ask the staff for new towels after day 3. In short: Hotel Kaliebe is a 3-star hotel, but we don't see the 4 stars. Nevertheless, we had a nice time, but we wouldn't come back again.

Addition in August 2024: The food is no longer comparable to 2022, unfortunately we no longer enjoyed it.2022:We went to Kaliebe for dinner a few times. Very good food at fair prices, great staff. A clear recommendation!

This year we spent our summer vacation at the Hotel Kaliebe. We have been there several times, including during the winter holidays and as a short vacation. We always find it great, cozy and beautiful. The service was first class. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, the family atmosphere is simply great. The rooms are cozy and lovingly designed. We will be back. Even after the change of ownership, nothing has changed in terms of service and the great staff. We felt very comfortable as a family and enjoyed our time at Hotel Kaliebe. Thanks to the team.

Were in caliber for the thirtieth time. The standard in the restaurant has fallen sharply. My personal letter to the manager remained unanswered after 2 weeks. We're tired of this hotel. It's sad how you can ruin a good reputation in 2 years.
