Good hotel, very well suited to cyclists with separate, lockable charging stations for e-bike batteries.Great service, good breakfast.Uncomplicated processing.Room facilities a bit outdated, mattresses in the beds quite hard, very small bathroom, shower with shower curtain and quite narrow.But everything was perfectly clean.

It is very welcome that you oppose this nonsensical G rule. We have been vaccinated ourselves, but will avoid hotels, travel companies, restaurants and all businesses that do this and will only support companies that handle it sensibly. Please remember, dear fellow human beings, unvaccinated people, regardless of the reasons, are not our enemies. It is terrible how this division is being pushed forward by the politicians and those responsible in this country. Everyone should decide for themselves, without restrictions, how they deal with it, anything else is shabby.

Nice, small, owner-managed hotel near the Neustrelitz market square. The hotel is located directly on a thoroughfare, but that didn't bother us in the room at the back. The furnishings of the facility and the room correspond to the historical standards and ambience of the hotel and are nicely done. The garden behind the house is beautifully landscaped, although it can only be accessed through the parking garage.It should be emphasized that as a two-wheeler rider, whether muscle-powered or motorized, you can park free of charge on the premises and even in the small parking garage.The breakfast is rich and covers your needs, but not a particular highlight. Just a breakfast, nothing less, but nothing more.Unfortunately, the hotel's historical standards are also continued in the bathroom; a shower curtain is certainly no longer appropriate. The bathroom is quite small, the shower is rather cramped, there are cracks and holes in the joints in the shower, which then of course turn black...There was a burn hole in the armchair, but this was already known when we asked.Otherwise there is nothing to complain about in terms of the furnishings and the condition and cleanliness.If you want or need to stay overnight in Neustrelitz (I had no other choice due to the weather situation...), then there is relatively no alternative to this hotel, judging by the average reviews of hotels in Neustrelitz. There is probably at most a real alternative, but it is hardly cheaper and does not offer breakfast.The Hotel Schlossgarten is obviously aware of this, as the price seems quite ambitious and rather at the upper end for what is on offer.At least the bathroom and the breakfast offer don't really match the price quoted, which was significantly increased a few days later (seasonal prices?).

The hotel is centrally located near the market square in Neustrelitz. It is very attractive both from the outside and from the inside. Behind the hotel there is a very well-maintained small park that invites you to linger. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Likewise the bathroom. The breakfast offers a very large selection and met all expectations. We were traveling on e-bikes. You can use a charging cabinet with lockable compartments to charge the batteries. We felt very comfortable and would definitely recommend the hotel.
