Looks more like a factory building, can't pay for rooms with cash, but rooms are very clean, breakfast is good enough.

We have been guests at the Hotel am Fischerhafen for several years now and we have been very happy with everything since the first time. The location of the hotel, the friendly staff, the price-performance ratio and the breakfast as well as the rooms were always great for us. Painstakingly preparing an old building and accommodating guests at the same time is really cool. Ikea style is also fine like at home. Only the driveway to the parking lot is a bit bumpy. With an elevator and the bathrooms are very modern. Check in at any time. Highly recommended in my opinion.

I have been using this simple and functional hotel several times a year since 2013, primarily for short tourist trips. It impresses with its clear price-performance ratio and cleanliness in the rooms and the building. This has a special charm. The rooms have been renovated and made “chic” in the last 2 years, and an elevator was also installed. The convenient transport connections are unbeatable (both by car and by S-Bahn). The breakfast service is okay. Conclusion: A thumbs up for the hotel and for the team around Ms. Grobe. The hotel meets the requirements for an inexpensive and centrally located stay in Rostock.

Price/performance really TOP! We stayed one night with 2 families in 3 double rooms and were very satisfied. The rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained. Already very well modernized. All rooms had flat screen TVs and small refrigerators. The building appears to be historical and looks very interesting combined with the modern features in the hallways. The room cards were issued with payment through and at the machine. Attention: only contactless payment at the machine is possible! Ultimately, all 3 room cards came out of the machine, which worked very well. The breakfast is rich and really good quality! Jam, chocolate cream, rolls, fruit, boiled eggs, yoghurt...everything is available. Even the cheese and sausage selection is excellent. Coffee, tea, juices...water 👍 The two breakfast rooms are comfortably furnished and the tables are a pleasant distance apart.Due to the late arrival, we only saw one employee at the buffet in the morning. But he was very friendly, nice and happy to fulfill all your wishes!A little highlight for us as electric drivers: The car can apparently be charged free of charge using the in-house wallbox (probably 22kW) - thank you very much for that too 🙏 A great additional service! We'd love to come back!Note: the location is in a commercial area, therefore not an area for romantic walks! But if you go to this little pearl, you don't expect a city forest right in front of your door 😜

Good hotel in a listed former fishing administration building. Nice, courteous and helpful, mostly young employees! Breakfast sufficient and fresh. Thank you for a week of relaxing vacation.
