Lovely renovated hotel. All rooms are different but ours was really huge. They have a sauna on a platform moored at the lake plus a relax room with a glass front facing the lake. Huge fun to use and jump in the lake afterwards. Some of the rooms face the busy street and might be a bit loud, so they put earplugs next to the bed. We didn’t need it at all.Breakfast is always extra and need to be ordered at the connected restaurant which is not a part of the hotel.

Good restaurant with cosy decor and friendly waitress (open to non-residents of hotel) You can sit in a pleasant courtyard or inside. The fish dishes were excellent- we had lunch and dinner during our stay. …

We went to the Hotel Inselhof for lunch. Our table was in a courtyard with a view of the lake. The food was wonderful north German cuisine. I had the sour pork dish that was prepared and presented very nicely. I plan to stay at the Hotel Inselhof for my next visit to lovely Malchow. No complaints at all. Lovely place to dine.

Note: I have no idea if the owners speak English, but if you venture into this part of Germany, you will encounter lots of people who don't speak English. …

I tried very hard to book a room but they are very rude. No matter how motivated I was to visit this place, they were so impolite. Sounded almost like I was bothering them for wanting a reservation. Lost completely my will to go there and I wouldn’t recommend to anyone

Thank you for the lovely stay! This is our second time here and we felt really comfortable again! The reception was very friendly, the location of the small hotel, the beautiful rooms😊a feel-good place! The courtyard with the Greek restaurant is also great and fully booked😅but there are other nice restaurants here in Malchow! We rented a boat this time too. Great price, nice boat! It's worth exploring the area via the waterways😍We would like to thank you again for the lovely long weekend🥰

Very nice, well-kept rooms and a great location with a fine swimming area on Lake Malchower. Breakfast could offer a little more flexibility and better tea and coffee quality would be great. A very big request: The bathing ladder leans inwards and is very slippery due to algae, making it very difficult to get out of the water onto the jetty. An improvement would be important to us, but we will definitely come back.

Rooms facing the street were very noisy. Hearing protection is provided! No mosquitoes/fly protection on the window. Attic room without air conditioning and without refrigerator.Room very clean when moving in. Further cleaning only every 2 days and then only the bathroom.Centrally located, parking spaces are very limited.

Super cozy and tastefully furnished rooms. Super clean and chic. With a sauna and relaxation room right on the lake. No hotel parking spaces. No free parking. The whole hotel, including the rooms, smells of food through the restaurant. Rooms facing the street are very loud and the furniture can sometimes wobble. The reception didn't speak good German. Worked best with English.

Great rooms and totally quiet despite being on the street side and above the restaurant. We were able to sleep very well (without oropax).
