Good location for athletes and navy personnel. Almost perfect rooms, except for the shower curtain that floods the bathroom. Buffet style food is just acceptable, the price is absolutely ok. Great meeting room on the 10th floor.

Unfortunately we had the problem that our bed was broken. A footrest was missing, which caused the bed to tip over. We reported it immediately and asked for repairs. Unfortunately this was not taken care of. We reported it a second time. Still not fixed. I complained and I was given 2 bottles of wine, but we still had to sleep in the same bed for 2 nights. The breakfast is really great. The rooms are also very comfortable. Unfortunately the bathroom smelled.

Disco on the 10th floor two nights in a row. We slept directly under it. What a disaster! Nice hotel but you shouldn't sleep there!!!

We had space for a family celebration at the top of the sports forum.The view over Rostock is unbeatable and cannot be compared to anything else locally.The staff was very friendly and accommodating, every wish was fulfilled immediately.The food was very tasty and beautifully presented. Drinks also had everything you wanted.It was particularly great that the foreign guests were able to stay overnight in the hotel underneath the location.Only recommended.

The room and bathroom are fine, but still have room for improvement. Breakfast is quite good and parking is also possible. Fine for a business trip. The proximity to the sports forum, the Trockenenburg restaurant and the zoo are good.

Unfortunately the price/performance ratio doesn't match. The skirting boards in my room were loose in several corners and there was also quite a mess at the reception. An extra 10 per day for the parking space.

The hotel is a bit out of town but great if you are traveling through. There is a lot of easy paid parking and a fantastic pub to eat at 10 minutes walk away. Breakfast was good with a big variety

My girlfriend and I booked the Hotel Sportforum for two nights to enjoy a short stay in Rostock after our Baltic Sea trip. When we got there, anything but enjoyment awaited us. The room we were offered was dirty. A molding was broken, the plaster was crumbling, a cardboard box was under the bed and the bathroom smelled like a drain. There were also obviously visible limescale stains in the shower. After reporting these deficiencies, we were given another room. There, too, the bathroom smelled like a drain, the blue shower curtain was yellowed at the bottom and the previous guest had probably cooked pasta in the kettle. On top of that, the dishwashing liquid was empty. There were dead bugs in the spaces between the windows. My girlfriend and I cleaned everything and can now claim to have left a hotel room cleaner than we found it.The parking situation in front of the hotel is also poorly solved. One negative thing we noticed was that there was broken glass in the parking lot when we left.The night was anything but quiet. Apparently drunk guests were having fun in the hotel hallway and were vocal about it. You could also hear extremely loud music coming from downstairs. My girlfriend and I barely slept that night.For this reason we ultimately decided not to spend the second night in this hotel and to leave early. Even one star is too much for this hotel!!

Price-performance ratio is good, rooms are good, bathrooms need a bit of renovation, unfortunately everything is under water after a shower. Breakfast great, varied and everything tasted great! Windows were completely opened in the room because of the heat! The negative point is that the glass containers are emptied at 6:00 a.m., but the hotel can't do anything about that! Thanks to all the hard-working employees!

Actually the hotel was ok, the housekeeping was good and the breakfast and the service were great. BUT at the reception Persolan, which always refers people from one person to the other when there are problems and, apart from one young man, has little plan. Despite a previous visit to test the hotel for my brother in a wheelchair and precise arrangements for the room, nothing was as it should be when we arrived. When asked, there was helplessness and none of the bosses felt responsible for clarifying the problem. I definitely wouldn't go there again and would recommend it to anyone, I'm super disappointed.

We chose this hotel as an overnight stay because we knew it from before and we had a great price for two rooms for 4 people (128 €). Everything worked out so far. However, the very high noise level due to an event on the 10th floor was to be criticized. The partying continued until the early hours of the morning, so the night wasn't very relaxing.A very good breakfast (extra charge around €15) made up for it.You should also find out more about the city of Rostock's tourist tax, which has been levied for two years. You are treated differently. A tax of almost €30 was due on our bill for this one night. I didn't pay them what was accepted.

We booked a room with a kitchen, the kitchen was functional and well-equipped. The mattresses are not too soft, we were able to sleep well.The closet in the room was relatively small, but completely sufficient for a short vacation.You are also well connected via the bus stop, about a 3-minute walk, and you were close to the old town after about 10 minutes.A small breakfast buffet which was very tasty, the bacon was crispy where you often only get wobbly slices.Various juices and a good selection of coffee specialties.You can park either in the hotel's own parking lot for €9 a day or in the surrounding streets, which was recommended to us directly by the hotel staff.For my dog there was a basket with a blanket and 2 bowls.Unfortunately, the doors are set so that they bang if you don't close them yourself. If you have people who don't show much consideration, it can happen quite often.

On the whole, the sports forum can only recommend. Great room, good breakfast and the service staff were on their toes.However, overnight guests should be advised that larger events and loud music may take place.Unfortunately, we were unlucky during our overnight stay (room on the 9th floor) that there was an event/party on the 10th floor until late at night (around 3 a.m.). It was impossible to sleep before 11 p.m. because you could have fallen out of bed because of the bass. After complaints, the bass was reduced, but the music could still be heard despite earplugs.So not a restful night.The highlight, however, were the animalistic noises from one of the rooms or from the balcony, where special birds seemed to be following their preferences.Despite wearing earplugs, I was woken up by these primal human noises.One could have expected worse.Ultimately, I can only say that the rooms are great and the hotel is recommended, but you should find out beforehand whether events will take place during the booked period.Unfortunately only a 3/5 due to the volume.I do not assess tourist taxes or other things because the sports forum has no responsibility for these services.
