We spent two nights here relatively spontaneously. The location of the hotel is great, you have the beach and the forest on your doorstep, and some restaurants are within easy walking distance. We really liked the service and the friendly and helpful staff. The room was quite large, simply furnished in a maritime style and fairly clean. The breakfast was very good and leaves no room for criticism.Dogs are not only tolerated but also very welcome. Why only 3 stars?1. As beautifully decorated as the rooms were, they were also simple. No minibar, no kettle, no coffee machine, very simple pleats. Although there was an entrance/exit on two sides, there was neither a nice view nor privacy. There is no real bar, lounge or anything like that. That would be fine if it weren't for the price:> 500 euros for 2 nights at the end of October... For this price level we have stayed several times in much more exclusive houses in better locations with direct sea views, a spacious wellness area, bar, fireplace room, etc. You then ask yourself (squint towards Zingst or Binz or Dierhagen): What is so much money for?2. The house looks quite run down from the outside and the stairwell inside is not very inviting either. Paint is peeling off in many places, some of the wood is very dilapidated, etc.In itself a nice place to spend time, but we found the price/performance to be inadequate.

Great hotel. The breakfast buffet was sensational. The staff was extremely accommodating. And very attentive. The hotel: in a quiet location, but you can still quickly get to the center of the city.

Very nice and small hotel, rooms spread over different houses. Very good breakfast that really leaves nothing to be desired. Dinner possible on 5 days, but very expensive. The service is very good

The upper room has a slanted area where the bed is underneath. Larger people in particular have problems here. In addition, if someone turns on the light in the stairwell, it also becomes bright through the room door. Which also happens at the window when the yard light comes on. Oh and the light switch next to the door also lights up nice and bright. The bathroom is actually the best thing about the room. For the price I definitely expect something different.

The beach house was wonderful and beyond our expectations. What stands out is the breakfast, which simply offers everything your heart desires, everything fresh and beautifully presented. There was a nice blanket and a bag of treats for our dachshund as a welcome, a great gesture. The location is perfect for dog owners, slightly out of the action and both dog beaches are a 15 minute walk to the left and right. We felt very comfortable

Nice, helpful and courteous staff. The breakfast buffet was very tasty and plentiful. The room was clean and lovingly furnished, but it could have been a little larger. In addition, it was a bit noisy, but okay for the one night we were there. Overall, a very nice little hotel right behind the dune.

The classic: The room description and, above all, the photos of the "Petterson" category shown on the website did not match our room 331 from the category mentioned - our room was worse - carelessly furnished with a basement feel due to the blinds in front of the windows. The addition: "Please note that not all rooms are identical." Doesn't help, because our room 331 definitely doesn't belong to the Petterson category but is below it. The staff was very friendly, the management accommodated us with a coffee and cake voucher and a refund of the parking fees. According to the staff, it was not possible to change rooms because the hotel was fully booked. From the outside, the house appears to be in need of renovation. Conclusion: Have the room category confirmed before booking!
