Schlosshotel Bad Neustadt

Were guests at a civil wedding in the castle hotel and then lunch on the terrace. The atmosphere is beautiful, the food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. But there weren't enough staff for the wedding and the meal took too long.

When I entered the room I was amazed by the beautiful decor. Unfortunately, two incidents marred my experience. For one thing, I found a used snot towel in my bathrobe and discovered a lipstick mark on a towel, although I didn't see the lipstick until the next day. These lack of cleanliness were disappointing. After breakfast, which was supposed to start at 8:00 am, I found that it was still not ready at 8:25 am, so I had to leave without breakfast.The rooms are undoubtedly well equipped and the location of the hotel is wonderful. However, there is an urgent need for action regarding staff to improve cleanliness and punctuality.Overall, the hotel leaves a mixed impression due to the points mentioned. The location of the hotel was very quiet. In theBathroom had dark hairs from previous ones. The shower gel was completely empty. Breakfast was rich, but you had the feeling that you were a burden on the staff. There was no sense of friendliness here.

The rooms are really beautiful. Some are modern style and some are old fashioned. The service was impeccable, friendly, polite and helpful. I can also say a lot about the situation. It is very beautiful because there is a small park right next to it that leads directly to the city. Parties such as birthdays can be celebrated very well in a hall that also has staff available. The food was also very tasty and inexpensive

First of all, on the good side, the hotel is in a great location next to the city park and the rooms were also comfortable.Unfortunately the negative outweighs the negatives, we booked this hotel for our wedding. Despite arrangements made by email, many agreements were lost and fortunately we were there again the day before the celebration and fortunately discovered that you had not prepared enough seats despite the seating plan. Luckily, this was quickly resolved with one of the few competent employees. Despite the agreed times for coffee and cake and the buffet in the evening, we had to ask ourselves how far the preparations were going. When it was said at cake time that it would still take a while, that wasn't a problem for us. But when my husband was asked by the staff 30 minutes later why no one came to get the cake, we were disappointed. Unfortunately the same picture at the buffet. It worked just for the midnight snack. As a result, the mood unfortunately became increasingly clouded. It's understandable that it takes longer to deliver drinks in times of staff shortages, but the fact that expired drinks were served shocked us. When the bill came and we were congratulated again on the wedding ceremony, we also wrote these criticisms by email, unfortunately there has been no answer or reaction for almost 2 weeks.If the civil wedding in the park hadn't been so beautiful and the celebration in the evening hadn't been so great, the negative would have won. We would not recommend this hotel!

I was invited to a wedding there, but was disappointed by this hotel:The guests' service with drinks left a lot to be desired; sometimes it took almost half an hour to get something.The company was invited to eat, but the soup bowls hadn't even been handed out yet.There was roast pork with a crust that was so hard you could bite your teeth and although not all of the guests had gotten something from the buffet, the chicken was already gone.The soup tureens were not cleared away in between, but remained on the tables until dessert, even though there were no soup bowls left for a long timeI would have expected a lot better from the star rating

Since I was a patient in the neighboring clinic, we decided to have coffee there. We got there just before 3 p.m. and it still had to be cleaned up from brunch. After 15 minutes you could get self-service coffee and cake. The staff was overwhelmed and hectic.You had to take the coffee yourself from a thermal container, which was definitely left over from breakfast because it was only lukewarm. After complaints we were given fresh coffee. The cold drinks were the same temperature as the coffee.When the waitress dropped a bottle at the next table, she scraped the shards together with her feet until she finally got the idea to get a broom and dustpan. She found it very funny and the full tray remained on the guests' table for a long time.Very disappointing for this price category.

Very beautiful hotel in an old castle

Pleasantly received upon arrival. Rooms are big enough for a family of 4. Large bathroom and a stocked mini bar. Alcoholic drinks cost money, but you can easily grab water or juice. Breakfast was good with enough selection. Definitely recommended.

Staff is nice. The hotel is nicely located at the spa park. It's a bit old but everything is ok so far. The room doors are just room doors, which means you can hear everything from the hallway. …
