The rooms are clean and I believe that it is nice there during the summer. Unfortunately, I stayed at this accommodation during the winter. 12-16 degrees in the rooms is really not enough. The price of 49 euros per night for one is excessive. You have to share the shower with the other rooms and you don't even have a place to heat your food.

If you don't want guests, you shouldn't run a guesthouse.Was treated absolutely unfriendly and downright dismissive. The first accommodation ever where I had to pay a deposit of 50 EUR. It's not my problem if the lady has had problems with guests in the past. The room was OK, but no wardrobe or trouser hangers. Parking for a EUR 5 fee. Not recommended in the least.

WARNING don't book, the hosts are not at all accommodating, you have 1 hour a day in which you can check in, no matter if your train was late or whatever, even if you're just a little late you'll either not be let in or if you're lucky, you'll hear a bell ringing Allowed in with extra costs due to delay. We were 16 and totally desperate. No mercy. Luckily we didn't stop ringing the bell otherwise we would have slept on the street. That wasn't all but just don't book. I wish I had seen the other bad reviews beforehand

CAUTIONCousin and daughter made a trip to Germany (comes from Melbourne). Wanted to visit her old uncle 87 and traveled by train. Unfortunately they arrived later, which is what she said on the phone. She couldn't check in on time, so she was told it would cost 25 euros more. When she finally arrived in Eltmann, no one was there. On Sunday evening in Eltmann, strangers helped her. Nobody answered the phone at the guesthouse. The second night had already been paid for, but no one answered the phone. She then checked into Hotel Wallburg, where she was helped a lot. This is really bitter and sad.

I'm warning you! Before arriving, read the reviews below, the only positive ones are from friends.When I got there, I didn't find anyone who owned it, the door to the house was opened by the man who rented the apartment there because it was cold. It is impossible to call the owner to collect the keys (he turns off the phone), the rental money was taken and not returned, this is already theft because in the end I didn't stay in this place because the lady didn't come and when calling via booking she said that I didn't show up for a special meeting. 5-6 p.m., even though I was there and called this person.I hope someone finally does something about this thief. :)

I don't normally write reviews, but this really pissed me off. I can't say anything about the stay as we couldn't check in. You can really only check in between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. Really a joke!!! Unfortunately, no one could be reached by phone at the time. We didn't book until 5pm and it was difficult to be there until 6pm and we wanted to clarify that. My colleague only arrived at the accommodation at 7 p.m. after a long day at work. At some point he reached someone by phone and was told in a very unfriendly manner (he's never experienced anything like that) that no one was coming anymore and when he asked what the second night was going to look like, we had booked 2 nights, it was friendly lady just hung up. Bottom drawer, as the accommodation still keeps the money. Well, hopefully karma will ensure justice and I wish you a lot of fun with the money. Never again Pension Eltmann!!!!

Caution!The guesthouse has a time window of 1 hour per day (5 p.m. to 6 p.m.) to obtain the room key.I overlooked this when booking and since it wasn't possible for me to be there at that time, I contacted the host to arrange an alternative handover of the key.Unfortunately, they were not willing to find a solution in the customer's interest.A goodwill gesture due to my problem was not considered.How people are able to get the keys if they are stuck in traffic or arrive late by train, for example, is a mystery to me.

The room is very clean, without question.Arrival only between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.!Skylights must not be opened. There is a charge of EUR 5 per day for parking and a EUR 50 deposit for the room. Let's see if we can get them back. Additional costs will only be communicated before arrival."Urinating next to the toilet costs 15 euros" (notice next to the toilet) I don't know who does it, but ok. You don't feel good like that.Sure, you'll have trouble with one or two guests, but you'll also scare the rest away.

I am really angry! Worst pension what i ever saw! Very rude and unfriendly owner.. at evening i gived her 50€ for deposit keys! And morning she steal my 10€ and give me back only 40€!!! Room was okey, but i sure never visit this pension anymore! If you looking some pension try find another one!

Very unfriendly landlady and many additional costs absolutely not recommended. Very cold in the apartment (heater in the bathroom has to be paid for separately using a coin slot!!!)
