Price performance hotel. We took it for our Bamberg trip, it's very close. Breakfast was nice. Parking available. The downside is that the rooms are outdated and old, but they are enough for a maximum of 2 days stay.

Quite old hotel renovated, very warm and very well maintained.We were greeted by a lovely friendly lady.Restaurant room in the hotel. The meal was tasty.Breakfast is included, plentiful and varied.Free parking in front of the hotel.Only negative point: far from the city of Bamberg.

The stay was very pleasant and nice. The location of the hotel is quiet, very close to nature. There are also beautiful walking and hiking trails and the Regnitz River right in front of the hotel. I booked a single room which came with a balcony and was very cute and clean. The best thing was the breakfast and the friendly service. I would recommend Hotel Buger Hof to anyone who wants to stay in a quiet place close to nature.

My parents were at the Buger Hof two weeks ago and were unfortunately very disappointed. It smelled as soon as I walked into the hotel. There was mold in the grout lines in the bathroom. The breakfast was very simple, there was little choice and the restaurant was basically out of service. The staff was quite friendly, but that doesn't really help in this case.Absolutely not recommended!

We were very positively surprised. The room and bathroom were nicely decorated and clean. Unfortunately there was no real warm water coming out of the shower - but that wasn't a big deal for us. The location was great - just a few minutes' drive from Bamberg city center. There is free parking in front of the hotel or a bus stop. There is a large selection at breakfast - which was also very tasty. All in all, recommended.

Staff very friendly, for €60 with breakfast for one night you can't complain. Rooms are simple and bright. Shared bathrooms have 2 showers and 2 toilets

The location is very good for excursions, the free parking lot and the bus stop right in front of the hotel are particularly interesting. The buses run at regular intervals so you can get to the city center without any problems, and the best part! ...you don't need to look for a parking space 😁

Just outside of Bamberg, but totally quiet and the city can be reached quickly. Family run. Staff very nice and helpful with questions. Rooms very clean. Food very good.

A hotel that is unfortunately a bit outdated. Staff super super friendly. Breakfast OK, nothing special but everything you needWhat doesn't work is the mold in the shower, that shouldn't exist in 2024I recommend SANIT Mold Free helps 100%

A family-run hotel in a quiet location with river views.The room was relatively large and well equipped and quite clean. The bathroom was small, functional with great water pressure in the shower. Unfortunately there wasn't enough storage space in the bathroom and it wasn't really clean. Mold and limescale deposits on sinks and in the shower.There is free parking opposite the hotel.The restaurant has a small menu and really good cuisine.The breakfast was quite good. Nothing special, but absolutely fine.The kitchen accommodated special requests for all meals.Unfortunately the restaurant is not thoroughly clean. Dirty tablecloth, dust on decorations, windowsill, beer dispenser,...The staff was super friendly.If you don't mind that the hotel isn't clean down to the pores, you're in good hands here. If you value cleanliness, you should look for somewhere else to stay.

Quite a nice room in a quiet location directly on the Regnitz. Very good food in the restaurant, but the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. It was very dusty in the room, and there were still crumbs from breakfast on the table and windowsill in the restaurant. Because of the dirt I only give the room 3 points, otherwise it would have been 4.

A room that was completely cold, with the carpet and dilapidated wallpaper that were probably more than half a century old and almost half a square meter of black mold on the bathroom wall.Turning the heater on made loud knocking noises.This room was an imposition. I just felt disgusted and barely slept.

Useful for staying cheaply close to Bamberg. I found the unisex showers and toilets borderline. As a solo traveler I felt uncomfortable with this.
