I have never experienced such an unfriendly innkeeper, he missed his job and should have been a construction worker.!!!! Cleanliness also leaves a lot to be desired.

We found a room here quickly and easily after a booking was made incorrectly somewhere else and we were unprepared to find another place to stay. The owner is a cool and friendly guy who immediately fulfilled our every wish, such as an extra refrigerator in the room. He even freshly prepared and marinated the roulades that were out of stock for us... speaking of food... tip top, large portions and fair prices. We had a very good time and are really happy to recommend the “Goldene Krone” inn!

I was only there for dinner, so only restaurant review. Furnishings ok, 80s, like a typical inn in the country, no special ambience. Early Friday evening, about 20 people there. After almost 10 minutes I finally got the menu and the order and drink went quickly. However, after an hour I asked when my food would arrive because I had actually had to leave a long time ago. After another 10 minutes it finally came. It took a similar amount of time for the people sitting next to me. That doesn't work at all. In any case, I was surprised that there were so many roast dishes on the normal menu. That means warmed up, then it should go much faster. Freshly prepared, it would have taken even longer, for example for a roast pork, which cannot be prepared individually anyway. I had a roast venison with very little portioned meat that seemed completely overcooked. The arrangement wasn't ideal either, everything on one plate including red cabbage and cranberries. Nothing special in terms of taste. Conclusion: I wouldn't repeat it or recommend it to others.

We met up with friends at the Gasthof Goldene Krone 👑 for a meal. My wife and I stayed in a very quiet and nice room there. The food was Franconian cuisine. The service and operation made a good impression on us. We recommend!

The price of the room is very fair.The price of breakfast and the situation in the breakfast room are more than embarrassing.In every youth hostel you will find a better and, above all, cleaner offer.The unkempt innkeeper was particularly interesting.Reading the newspaper and petting the dog are very important!The position of the younger woman in the inn is unclear - dog trainer?There is a lot to clean and "dedecorate" in the dining room and house.The positive reviews surprise me.Were we in the same inn?

I can only agree with those who made negative comments. The only thing we liked was the room, but: room facing the main street, loud, woke up in the room at 12 degrees, windows all cracked, bathroom at 12 degrees, way too cold. The dining room was unclean, breakfast?, no cucumber, no tomato..., jam jars with gray contents, eggs a thank you. The dogs, yes as described.., very disappointing! We were looking forward to a few nice Easter days and... what a shame. We made it nice for ourselves and met lots of nice people with whom we hiked and met up for dinner elsewhere. The person who wrote, sleep and go, was right. Unfortunately, feeling good looks different and we weren't the only guests with this opinion, we won't be coming back. Another note, the broken stone step in the entrance area poses a risk of injury and needs to be repaired as quickly as possible.

We stayed overnight in this inn.On the way from north to south Germany.My experiences all the stars are justified, very clean room very rich breakfast. We also haveIn the evening we had a Franconian beer.All in all a nice family owner for a good price.P.S. The restaurant rooms are still in very good wooden beam construction and create a very cozy indoor climate.In any case, we will stay in this house again.
