Although I was surprised by issues such as phone calls on the first day, I was able to get off to a pleasant start in Munich thanks to the excellent response of the staff in charge. I'd like to repay you, but there's no other way, so I'm leaving a review like this.This is my first visit to Germany, and thanks to the person in charge, I am leaving with pleasant memories.

Just spent 5 nights at the hotel and everything was extremely positive:1) Friendly staff2) Clean room3) Comfy bed (and I'm hard to please)4) Bathroom was large and had great water pressure4) Balcony was very nice addition, unfortunately it rained alot5) Very reasonably priced (reflective of how expensive Munich can be, especially for the area.6) Saving the best attribute for last, LOCATION. It was 100% perfect.If we are ever back in Munich we would not hesitate to come back to this hotel.

The hotel is small with just 20 rooms. The location is great. Our room was clean and tidy. There are no tv’s this wasn’t a problem as it’s been years since I have watched tv in a hotel room. iPad has kind of replaced that. …

It was used during the 2023 Christmas season.I arrived earlier than the check-in time, but the service was good and they happily stored my luggage for me! The room was also cute and nice.

A clean, quiet and quiet hotel in a very central location. You can take the Metro from the airport and get off at the stop 350m away from the hotel. It takes 6-7 minutes to walk. The metro ride from the airport to here is about 40 minutes. I think the ticket should be around 16-17 euros per person...

It's really hard to find anything negative about this hotel. Let's start from the room: very spacious, warm and particular (the graffiti on the walls is very beautiful). And, incredibly, also very silent. The (I assume) owner was very courteous and helpful, always. Finally, the location, just a few (very few) steps from the center, in an area full of clubs and restaurants. You really can't ask for more.

Lovely bed, but lighting wasn't that good, room was kind of dim, and hotel was a bit far from the train station, especially if carrying luggages, a lot of food choices nearby and really friendly receptionist

First, the good - we liked the location close to the old town center and public transportation. We also liked having access to an honesty bar, and prices were reasonable. Reception was very pleasant, but there is no one there after 9pm, and you have to use a code to enter. No one shared the new code with us (it changes every Sunday) - thankfully, we got there just before reception left and were able to gain entry.Now, the room - it's not "bad", but very firmly only ok. The bedroom and bathroom were both extremely small, the building was older, and temperature regulation was an issue. The bed was comfortable, though! Overall - I would maybe stay there again, but I would be more likely to look for another option.

This hotel, like Munich, is a gem. We used it as a “home base” during a 10-day Bavarian excursion. It is perfect for the traveler who wants to get out and experience the city while also having a comfortable place to rest and relax.While WDREI (or, W3 - in honor of the women artists of the art around the building), isn’t your typical hotel, it is definitely a lovely place to stay. The staff is welcoming and super genuine - always a delightful chat. It has more of an AirBnB feel, so, if you’re looking for a spa experience and reasons to stay inside, then look elsewhere. If you’re more interested in what the city has to offer, WDREI is the place for you.Our room had a lovely balcony in the courtyard, perfect for coffee and a book before setting out to explore. The paintings that adorn the interior depict local scenes, inviting you to search them out - we had a painting of surfers on the Isar (a fun experience just outside of Haus der Kunst).When we return to Munich, WDREI will be at the top of our list for accommodations.

Really nice hotel in the centre of the old town, just round the corner from the Hofbrauhaus. The staff were polite and friendly and the room was clean and modern. The 12pm checkout time was also a big plus

Great location, just a few steps to Platzl!There is almost no service but that is part of the concept there and saves money.Luggage can be stored, early check-in and late check-out (12 p.m.) possible. Relatively calm. Air conditioning available.
