I did not know Vildštejn Castle and it was a very pleasant surprise for me. It is a hotel and a restaurant at the same time, and you can really recommend treating yourself to a comprehensive experience.

The location is very nice, the rooms are clean and nice. The lunch and dinner tasted very good. The breakfast wasn't that special. The outdoor facilities are a bit old.

A very beautifully decorated castle with great attention to detail.

Were there at 10 a.m. and waited 15 minutes. No one there, cash desk closed. Opening time from 10 a.m. posted. Absolute disappointment. There seems to be a work ethic from the 1980s here.

Went there for dinner and it was a very nice atmosphere. The vaulted ceiling in the dining room was incredibly beautiful. The starter came after 3 minutes. Since the room was very, very full, the main course took a long time. A big plus point, however, was that in the meantime she gave us a plate of her own homemade sausage for us to taste free of charge. The main course was very tasty but unfortunately not a large portion. All in all 3 stars because the price-performance ratio for the size of the portion no longer meets the Czech standard.

Unfortunately I was only able to view this castle from the outside. You feel like you've been transported back to the Middle Ages.

The castle is one of the oldest in our country, very nicely reconstructed, the castle has a medieval banquet hall, accommodation options and a museum of firefighting equipment. The only thing that can be criticized is the imbalance of prices in the dining room. On the other hand, I can recommend the food and the service is willing and pleasant - everything is fine. I appreciate the offer of charcuterie from the local butcher - tasting on the cutting board, good idea. I can also recommend the "local" Vildštejn wine.

So we waited for the food for an hour and a quarter and then it was cold. If there were minus points, I would give minus 5.
