The reception was friendly, the room was older, but ok.Yes, the carpet looks a bit worn - ok.A few silverfish in the room, also in the wet room.Well, it can happen.But silverfish for breakfast on the jam bowls doesn't have to and shouldn't be allowed.It's a hotel and not a cheap hotel!I was traveling on business with a colleague and were looking for two single rooms.According to information, only double rooms were available(unfortunately a little more expensive), the other guests had probably arrived on foot, because the parking lot was and remained very clearly occupied. Likewise the breakfast room. All the tables were set, but that's just how you do it.It's actually a shame.

Was the only hotel left during Oktoberfest near Augsburg, but in my over 10 years of travelling and staying at hotels for business, this takes the last place. The one positive is the location, as it is not inside Augsburg but very close.

We booked one night in this hotel on August 22nd, 2024 and left the property after staying for about 10 minutes and canceled the booking because the condition of the room was unreasonableHowever, the adventure began with the arrival. Check times were supposed to be from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. but at 5 p.m. there was no one to be found. A really nice and courteous lady who has nothing to do with the hotel but lives in or on the property basically had us Helped get the key to our room and showed us where to go. When you get to the room, you usually take a walk around and look at everything... Very shabby condition, starting with the dirty carpet, the floor from which the stains will probably never come out, dirt and crumbs everywhere, cobwebs in the corners and even a live specimen of a spider We immediately found the bathroom full of hair and a smell as if someone had done a big deal in the toilet 10 minutes before, silicone joints in the shower, moldy pillows on the bed full of drool stains and then we had enough and left againAfter a short phone call with the hotel owner, there was no apology or anything, just an OK, we canceled the overnight stayHighly recommended if you want shock grandchildren.

When we travel with a dog, we like to stop here. Hotel rooms are ok. There is a restaurant/beer garden next door and a lake to cool off is not far either.

The rooms are in the 90s style, but clean, the bathroom serves its purpose. The location is super quiet. 5 minutes walk to the swimming lake. There you can just have a drink, relax or go swimming. As a business traveler completely ok.

The staff is nice and friendly when you see themRoom is not suitable for allergy sufferers as the rooms are completely covered with very old carpeting where the color is no longer really definable and there are several stains. When the weather is good, the towels and bed linen are dried on the drying rack outside, which is environmentally friendly but not suitable for those with hay fever as the pollen is redistributed in the hair and on the skin.The hotel looks like a retirement home from the outside. The rooms are in absolute need of renovation.The bathroom looks like it's in an airplane, completely made of plastic, hair from the previous one was still there.

My conclusion first: Not again!The room was rocked. The furniture is clearly getting old and the paint is also clearly peeling off.With its plastic construction, the bathroom is reminiscent of a caravan or similar.The room could urgently use a renovation/painting. Old pictures were taken down and new decorations were put up in the same place. The dark, dingy places are impossible to miss. Also on corners and edges.The evening after the first night we discovered that there had been no room service. So we didn't dare put used towels on the floor.When we asked, we were told that room service only takes place every two days.Breakfast was very spartan on the first morning. Cheese/sausage was the same on all three days. From the bulk pack to the table... Different types of coffee from the machine. Tea bags, low-quality orange juice, tap water.There was no breakfast table set. You would have to put everything together yourself.If the room hadn't been clean to begin with, we would have refused.

To all the complainers and negative-posting professionals: this hotel is great for transient travelers. Clean rooms and friendly staff. If you want more, you can pay up to three times as much, complain about old carpeting or the bathroom as a wet room, or if you don't have the key ready when you arrive. But then go into the city and demand luxury at a low price. Where is there something like that? It's a shame about every negative review. The house really doesn't deserve that.
