Nice hotel with a great location for an overnight stop. The food was okay given that there’s not much else in the area. Very friendly staff and fresh and clean rooms. Elevator is a plus.

We visit the therms in bad steban at least once a year every year and we always stayed in bad steban until now. But over the last few years we became discontent with the hotel where we used to stay so we've been trying other hotels and this year we decided to look outside of bad steban and came across this hotel. It's only 17 min away from the therms which is ok for us.Pros:- the room was big with a big closet and a seating area for 3/4 persons inside and 2 persons outside (see pics)- there was a hair dryer in the bathroom that was surprisingly powerful and dried my long hair fast- breakfast is ok with fresh croissants, tea, milk, whole wheat bread, ham, cheese, honey, nutela, fresh melon, yogurt (including natural) and a few other things- one big plus for me is that you can order latte macchiato, cappuccino, etc for breakfast for free- Wi-Fi works and there is no need to register or enter password- the balcony of the room was one of our favorite things. It was pretty big and it has walls all around so you can sit outside even when it rains. It also offers complete privacy, you can't see any other room or balcony. The view is not the best but it's green, quiet and private which are the most important things for us (see pics).- the balcony has carpet floor so you can go outside in socks even in the winter- every night you get a new free bottle of gas water in the bedroom- the staff is friendly and helpful- there is elevator- there is a fridge with drinks in the lobby including beer and still water (you have to pay in the reception)- the hotel bar is open all day until 22h so you can get drinks (also coffee drinks) any time of the day and they also give you a tray if you want to bring it to the bedroom. The prices are normal, what you would pay in a bakery, so there is really no need to leave the hotel- and the best for us is that the hotel works with an Italian restaurant that delivers the food to your hotel room. That was the most amazing part for us, really so convenient, specially when you have kids. They offer pizzas, pastas, salads and meat. The food is not amazing but it's ok (tip: bring salt and dinnerware or ask at the hotel bar)- the hotel bar also serves one hot meal at night but we didn't try it- breakfast starts at 6h30 which is great for families with kids that wake up early (ends at 10h)- I read that there is a playground but we didn't see or try it because it was rainy- check-out is very easy, just leave the door key card at the reception- there was an ashtray in the balcony- free parkingCons:- the gap between the 2 beds grows wider during the night. This was the biggest con for us because our son sleeps between us- the toilet was old and it had yellow calc stains which I found a bit icky (see pic)- the balcony door was made of glass and didn't have shutters or black out curtain so we couldn't make the room completely darkBut anyway the pros, specially the amazing convenience, far outweigh the cons for us, so this will definitely be our hotel from now on every time we visit the bad steban therms.

Horrible attention to client. I have never seen this level of rudeness. Whoever picks up the phone should think twice about her line of work. She was wildly rude and hostile, then hang up the phone. Please everyone avoid this place, for your own good.

I am driving to Berlin and made the reservation this afternoon- called at 7pm due to an accident on the autobahn and the roads are terrible to do a storm - evident with storm warning to back it up- my arrival would be delayed to 10:28. When I called I was told that there were no exceptions and that I couldn’t arrive past 10 and refused to issue me a refund. I will follow up with my credit card company. This is not hospitality- I was relying on a place to sleep and trusted them . And not only will they refuse me a room because I am 28 minutes late- they will also keep my money? Absolutely terrible on so many levels .

Wonderful breakfast with hot and cold foods. Small but nice suana and warm pool. The beds are excellent and the rooms are quite large. Highly recommend the schnitzel.

Arrived as confirmed by mail in July, last night 13-14/10-2017 around 00.30 in the middle of the night with my family, wife, two kids and two old people as we have done for the last 5 years after a 8 ours drive... Nobody there! Reception was open, we called about 10 times by telephone, bell at disk and button outside the door and absolutely no answer! After being there at the empty hotel reception for more than half an our, we had to get back in the car and search for another place to sleep! :(.Stay away unless you arrive in daytime where hopefully somebody’s there! We have all the documentation to confirm our reservation on email, arriving late at night etc if there’s any doubts about the truth...:(

The rooms are a little bit old fashioned but towels and beddings are clean and fresh . The window has only light curtains so in the summer the sun comes into your room very , very early . Its very difficult to read books in the room because it's too dark inside . Breakfast very good but coffe terrible.
