I was nearby on business and spent one night there. Highly recommended hotel, very nice people and very loving breakfast.I didn't think much of the location to the lake, you have to walk a few meters as the hotel is right next to the train station in Dießen. At first I was worried because it might be noisy due to train traffic, but that's no problem at all - a train arrives at this station every leap year. And if so, it's not loud anyway.Breakfast was good, looked too clear at first ;-), but the details were loving and varied and were constantly refilled. I liked it more than these meter-long buffets that then all end up in the trash.In short: it won't be the last time I've been there - 100%.

Quiet place to relax. Room pretty clean, no carpets which is good. Toilet a tad small but well-equipped. Has towel heater which i like. No kettle in the room though. Housekeeping is pretty meticulous. One of the better ones I've come across and the staff were very nice.Location wise: very good. It's 1-min walk from tourist info counter, which is just next to the train station for Munich-Wilheim (Oberbay). Train station is between hotel and the lake. There's also a cafe and post office within the tourist info building. Nice cafes all around the area.

Our late arrival was effortlessly made easier by the smooth handover of the keys. The room impressed with its cozy furnishings and loving details. The bed turned out to be extremely comfortable and inviting. The staff and manager were incredibly friendly and helpful. The cleanliness and modernity of the room contributed to a pleasant stay. The varied and delicious breakfast rounded off our experience perfectly. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

We stayed in this very nice hotel last week. Everything was perfect. Excellent location, very nice and quiet room. The hotel staff was always very friendly. Breakfast buffet was very good, everything was wonderfully prepared, fresh and very tasty. The Ammersee is right outside the door, lots of options for eating out, bakeries, ice cream parlors, etc. in the immediate vicinity. Our dog was also welcome and felt comfortable. We'd love to come back next year :-) .If you look around the hotel and see how attractively the dining room alone has been decorated, you will notice that everything is done there to ensure that the guests have a wonderful stay.Please just keep it up :-)))

Have been to this hotel twice now.The personnel is very friendly and courteous.The breakfast buffet is manageable and not overloaded.The rooms are not too big but not too small either, just right.Yes and the bed is very comfortable. I usually have trouble sleeping when I don't sleep at home except here.

All in all it's ok, I think it's a bit expensive. With breakfast it would have been 150€ more expensive than in a 5 star hotel in Garmisch from which we drove here. Pretend that everyone is super friendly.

ROOM:Our room was generally fine. In some rooms there is a 13" TV.You don't want to stay in the room and watch TV, but a 45 to 55" is actually standard. Comfortable beds and clean bathrooms, balcony with a nice view available in almost all rooms.PACT PLACE:The hotel offers approximately 8 parking spaces. That is clearly not enough. But you can also park right next door for 30 minutes with a parking disc. And right around the corner you can pay parking fees at the machine and park for longer periods, which is really annoying.BREAKFAST:The breakfast is not varied and is limited to the bare essentials (standard). But what we noticed every day was that sausage and cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers and olives were not replenished after 9:30 a.m. Here, too, I am in favor of not throwing anything away, but it must still be possible to get everything at 9:30 a.m. if you can have breakfast until 10 a.m.We were offered boiled eggs, with the advice that the eggs were probably a little too soft. However, these were the hardest eggs I have eaten. Inedible and the opposite of "too soft". Apparently the staff here doesn't even know that eggs harden after just 3 minutes. And the way the eggs were served, they were cooked for at least 10-15 minutes.Overall we won't be booking here again.SERVICE:The reception was very positive with a young, nice gentleman who gave us a nice introduction and was very helpful. He has taken up the criticism for breakfast and will pass it on.DOGS:You can also stay overnight here with dogs and the lake is right in front of the hotel door in the morning and is conveniently located for walking.LOCATION:The hotel is located right next to the train station which makes touring very easy.You can hardly hear the trains at night.The Ammersee shipping stop is also nearby, so you can be at the jetty in 5 minutes on foot and take beautiful tours to other towns on the water.

The location of the hotel is really good and central. This is probably the reason for the somewhat inflated room prices, which for me are not in line with the price-performance ratio. The breakfast for 14 euros is very disappointing. Cheapest sausages and cheeses in small quantities, at 9 a.m. all the containers are already empty... the staff only notices it after being asked. Sorry for this review... but for us it hardly has the character of a hotel, more of a motel.
