Great breakfast, impressed by the variaty. (Recommended). However, no free coffee machine, although pretends to be luxurious. Transportation is a challenge because of the location.

More signage would be nice, such as outside to the entrance and inside on the ground floor to the toilets and stairwells. If the synthetic duvets and pillows would be changed to natural materials then I would give this hotel five stars. The breakfast is fantastic. The rooms are nice. The staff are great.

The location right by the u bahn is the redeeming quality of this Marriott. Our room was small and didn't add up to the cost per night. For what we paid the buffet should have been included.We would not stay at this property again unless it was cheaper or the buffet was included.

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. The room was very nice, modern and yet comfortable. We really liked it. The location to the research center is great, the way to the subway or bus is just a few steps, 1 stop to Garching.

If you want a place slightly more affordable than munich city center, then this place it's OK. The train stop is right in front of the hotel and it's a 35-40 minute train ride from Marienplatz and the Oktoberfest tents, however there is nothing around it, so you have 1 burger place and the hotel kitchen and bar to hang around.Except for 1 girl at the front desk that was super nice, the rest of the staff were a little bit grumpy all the time.

We stayed at this hotel from Friday evening to Sunday last weekend.Check-in was quick and friendly. Afterwards we went to the bar and had something to eat and drink. Except for Rebecca, everyone is very unfriendly, slow and unmotivated. We waited 27 minutes for the order to be taken and 34 minutes for the bill to arrive. I then went to the bar and urgently asked for the bill. The answer I was given was that I had to wait.The breakfast is good.The connection to the subway too.The room cleaning is a disaster. You were knocked out of bed at 8:26 a.m. and the two men were suddenly in the room. This was an absolute no-go for us. We then said that we would be out in 40 minutes for breakfast and then all day and that the room would be happy to be cleaned then.When we got back to the hotel in the evening, there was no toilet paper stocked, the beds were made, and there were still wet towels on the floor. The room was not cleaned.We booked 2 different categories and would have received the suite as an upgrade, but according to the room picture on the website it wasn't a suite and we spent 2 nights in the cheap category even though we booked the expensive one for one night.Some of the employees are very arrogant and unfriendly.We wanted to try the hotel but will go to another one
