The hotel appears a bit hipper online than it actually is. The entrance door or the fire doors from the 1960s are aesthetic low points. The room was quite shabby, there were no shelves in the shower. “Trying” with room for improvement. If those in the pictures know what it should look like, then it would be appropriate for these standards to apply in all rooms, and not just in the “photo room”. The proximity to the train station is noticeable at night with noises that sometimes take some getting used to, but that's what being close to train stations means. The location is still ideal for train travelers, and anyone who wants to spend a reasonably inexpensive night in Munich is in good hands here.

Dealing with the Creatif elephant borders on a bad dream. Booked three weeks in advance for one night, extra French double bed, because if I have to go to the hotel then please also be comfortable with plenty of space.Arrived at the accommodation in the evening, had to fill out the data and then realized that I didn't have a room. The hotel was probably overbooked and they didn't consider the possibility of informing me about such a change in good time. We were quickly sent in a taxi to the Hotel deutsches Theater on the other side of the main train station. The receptionist said it was even an upgrade for the inconvenience.When I arrived, I was too heavy for the elevator (I weigh 65kg with luggage, if at all). I walked 2 floors and then came to a musty, old, shabby room with a tiny bed. Bathroom dirty, room dirty. You can find out more in the review at the German Theater. :) I think the Hotel Elephant is an absolute disgrace. I definitely won't give it a second chance. Being punished with such a catastrophe after 10 hours of work and 3 hours of travel is no longer within my comprehension.

Bathroom is very small.Overall, the room seems rather carelessly designed.Crumbs in the fridge that hadn't been cleaned out.Bed was ok, but slipped with the slightest movement, e.g. when sitting down and getting up, and the mattresses were cheap and sagging.Overall conclusion:Ok for one or two nights if you only use the hotel to sleep and don't spend any time in the room during the day. Absolutely unsuitable for a longer stay. Generally more functional, not as a nice trip or vacation etc. The hotel cannot keep up with others in the same price segment, therefore not a recommendation.

The Creatif Hotel Elephant impresses with its central location, not far from the main train station and within walking distance of Munich city center.The rooms are clean, but partly. Wear is not sufficiently counteracted. During my visit, the wall-mounted television couldn't be straightened and was hanging crooked. Furthermore, the door handle to the bathroom was loose. The free WiFi was good for that.Despite the central location and the taxi rank in front of the front door, it is quite quiet there at night. Slept well, also thanks to a good bed. I also liked the spacious shower. But you won't find a kettle or something similar there. The rooms also have safes to lock up valuables.Staff is friendly. Breakfast costs extra. But I didn't book it.Overall I had a pleasant stay there.

Friendly staff, kind and willing to help, the lady and gentleman at the reception were super nice, the gentleman was helpful and kind despite the late hour, the lady greeted me in the morning with a smile, I will repeat my stay in Munich in this hotel... I recommend it

The location is very close to the hauptbahnhof, only 2 minutes walk. The check-in process was very easy, you could go straight into your room even though we arrived earlier than check-in time. Free kids. Clean rooms. The duvet cover and pillowcases look new. The bathroom is quite clean, there is soap, the shower runs smoothly. We also felt safe when staying with our child (aged 5 years)What to consider:- if you want to stay in summer/winter: there is no air conditioner. We came during the summer (weather around 25-27C), we felt quite comfortable using the fan provided by the hotel.- no curtains, only curtains.In our opinion, the price paid is in accordance with the pluses & minuses of this hotel.

I stayed here for one night on a stopover trip. The hotel is perfect for this as it is a 5-minute walk from Munich main station. The room was spacious and clean. Otherwise the hotel is a bit shabby. However, the price-performance ratio is great and recommended for one night, but I would stay here again. The reception staff were very friendly.

The guy behind the counter was very polite and helpful, he showed me to my room and explained how to use the wifi and keys as soon as I arrived.Sadly though, I had one of the worst nights of sleep I've ever had, the bed was very uncomfortable, the pillows also and the room was incredibly hot. The TV did not work at all and none of the power outlets in the room worked so I was unable to charge my phone overnight which was quite detrimental to my trip. The shower was also really strange, you had to pull a little lever to let the water come out, but if you let go of it, the water would turn off. I've never seen this before but taking a shower was quite a chore.Besides this, the hotel was worth the very cheap price that I paid last minute. I'd stay again if I really had no other choice and bring a power bank to ensure I can charge my devices.

First of all, we stayed for 2 nights. Our room was very nice and clean. Thank you Ms. Monica.- The rooms have a wardrobe, television, nightstand.- The bathrooms were big enough and clean. There is toilet paper.- The staff is very attentive and helpful.- Internet is very fast- Teas and coffees are free downstairs and this is a great gesture.-Transportation to everywhere is very easy, you can walk to the square in 10 minutes.-If you want to come to the airport, you can take S1-S8. Be careful before you get on the S1, it should say airport in front of it, there is another S1 going to another place.Breakfast in the morning,-Hotel Amba from 7 to 10 pm on the 1st floor. It's a nice and clean hall.- Breakfast items such as butter, cream cheese, cereal, orange juice, coffee, eggs, bread, cheese, etc.To summarize, it was far beyond our expectations and we were satisfied. Thank you.

Inexpensive overnight stay right in the center. Rooms were clean, tidy and simple. Of course you shouldn't expect luxury for the price. Breakfast buffet is available on request.
