It's pretty decent for what you pay for. The location is really close to the train and bus stations, 5 minutes walk away. There is also plenty food options in walking distance. It's the first hostel I stay in that has air conditioning and the water pressure from the shower was really good! The pillows deflate wafer thin as soon as you put any pressure on them. There are conveniently placed charging plugs right next to each bed and a charging port inside the lockers if you need to securely store and charge your laptop. Breakfast isn't worth it for the 8 euro asking price. You pay 10 euro deposit for a towel but get back 8 euro once the towel is returned. There is a self service laundry room (only 1 washing machine and 1 dryer, so you might need to wait a while) that costs 5 euro with washing soap and softener included. Staff were friendly and helpful to me, I left my access card in the room and they replaced it with no cost or hassle. Special mention to Andrei, Adam and Salma at reception, always smiling and willing to assist.

Staffs are super nice, location good to reach public transportation, but the area looks a bit scary for me.The room is not good at all, no soundproof, I heard everything from outside of the room even I used earplugs, so I couldn't sleep that good. There are also no big lockers in the room, the lockers are in front of my room that is another reason why it's so so loud most of the time. And too little lights in room, too dark. Can't control the light only for my bed too .But the room is big enough for 6 beds.

Stayed here with a group of 24 for a school trip. We had a large group, and for the most part they were pretty accommodating. However, overall you get what you pay for and the whole place seems like they're just grasping at straws to get more money (€8 deposit for towel and €2 rental fee) and various other fees as well as breakfast being €8 per person per day which ended up being mediocre for the price anyway. Additionally, the staff did the bare minimum and didn't seem to care much; our group was even accused of being 'rude' for not saying good morning to the staff before the staff even spoke to us. As for the facility itself, the bathrooms were really nice but the beds were not comfortable and felt rock-hard. The pillows served no purpose whatsoever as they completely deflated when any weight at all was put on them. The elevator was also extremely inconvenient considering the capacity of the hostel: it had a maximum capacity of 5 and absolutely no space for luggage. However, we didn't have any issues with noise from guests in particular, just the construction going on outside our window. The air conditioning was nice as well.

People from the reception are really unfriendly. I told them that I booked a room with 4 beds and the gave me one with 6 (supposedly they had a problem with the system) also the room card didn't work and the room smelled very bad. The only good thing about this place is the location

The location right by the main station is great, plus they have 24 hours reception. The hostel is very modern and cool looking. Breakfast was for eight euro, it was good. For some reason, there were constant troubles with the room card, plus the toilets at the lobby / bar weren't working the whole time we stayed there. Most of the staff isn't very nice.

Room was small and uncomfortable to stay in for long. Bunk beds aren't a problem, but the bottom bunk has zero space to even sit up in. Doesn't even have towels or a hair dryer to use, though you can rent a towel for €2 (with a €10 extra deposit) at the reception. Air conditioning didn't work and the street outside was loud at night.Located fairly close to many stores and restaurants.

Absolute worst hostel of my trip and it just happened to be the most expensive too! There are only 4 lockers in the 6-bed rooms. As a result, I had nowhere to store my luggage. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving the hostel, because I had no locker to store my valuables in and did not want have to bring all of my belongings out with me for my night in the town (I had a walk, meal and a football match planned). I paid €60 for a room where I don’t have a single safe place to store my items. The guidance on the website and an email from Jaegers hostel literally says that you should bring your own 40mm padlock, so I have now wasted another €10 buying a padlock for a non-existent locker.I asked at reception and the man said there was nothing he can do. I asked if I could have a different room where one of the lockers might be available. It seemed he didn’t believe me as he came up to the room to check and then left saying there’s nothing he can do. They offered me to put my things behind reception, however that is highly inconvenient. For example, if I wanted to store away my valuables whilst I went for a shower, it is completely impractical to put my stuff in the reception, go for a shower, and then go back down to reception to pick up my bags again.I spoke to the manager who also didn’t see the problem and then stopped responding. I asked if I could move rooms to a room where a locker is available or if I could get a refund because I was outraged by this service and had no option but to stay in the room all evening, which ruined my one night here in Munich.I really think there should be 6 lockers in the room as somebody I spoke to said another room had loads of lockers. This hostel does not provide the promised basics listed on the website.(Also the bunk beds are considerably low down so not even a child could sit up under it. Everyone in the room had to slither into their bed.)

Couldn't sleep well there because the guy on the lower bunk bed was kicking my bed every hour. I was trying to change my room but the staff who is on shift said there's no room available. So I booked for another hotel and when I was about to give back the room keys they offered me a room but It's too late for I already booked a hotel room. So I asked for a refund but to luck.

The hostel location is awesome. Next to the train station and also a subway stop, and 15/20 minutes away from the city center by foot. The only problem is that the neighbourhood is unsafe at night, better to move in groups. The services are just enough for living, you have to pay for everything apart from the bed.The staff is unpleasant, they won't help you under any circumstances. I left a brand-name polo at my room, and the staff didn't answer my emails until I went in person to the hostel to search it. It disappeared, I guess someone of the cleaning staff founded it nice. Some friends founded their room without latch, so they couldn't lock their room door at night. In both situations the staff didn't care and we couldn't find a solution nor get a refund.

I've been in around 20 hostels and I'm pretty sure this is the worst experience I've ever had. I know the prices are pretty cheap and the rooms with less people seemed very nice, but the room I was in was with 7 other people. I did sign up for that, but I didn't sign up for was for the space to be this small. You're basically smelling each the feet of ther person in front of you. The person on top of me was sick (which I'm not blaming the hostel for) however, I am blaming the hostel for the wobbliest bedframe I've ever seen. Everytime he sneezed or coughed the bed shaked like there was a magnitude 7 earthquake and I don't even know how that's possible. Also you have to go outside to access your full size locker which doesn't make any sense. And finally the bed is positionned so that my head is 30cm away from the toilet door. So everytime someone woke me up by closing the door, I had to play the game of "Was that a number 1 or a number 2 ?" and soon enough the smell would enlighten me.The only happy moment I could have had in that hostel was if I had a shame kink because the lady at the counter is so incredibly condescending it's actually incredible.
