Due to an error in the software, the bell didn't work, it felt like the wait until the door was opened was about 15 minutes because there was no keyboard. Hot water, heating and roller shutters didn't work either, nor did the television. The studio we booked was a bit tight and I kept sliding along the sloping roof. The bathroom only consists of a sink and toilet, showering is only possible in the shared bathroom but without hot water... cat laundry.Result: tick it off and never again.

After a year of absence, at this point, unfortunately, I have to change my opinion. The room had a bad smell, unwashed towels, a musty smell, no fan at all, squeaky beds, no mosquito nets on the windows, and when it's hot, you have to open the window because it's hot and mosquitoes and other insects can come into the room. It is enough that the owner of the facility sometimes checks the temperature in the rooms. Sorry, I don't recommend it.

Nice room but very noisy. I still slept well with earplugs. A bath is a bit small but with a little consideration it worked out quite well for us.

Booked and confirmed: double room with private bathroom.Get: Double room with shared bathroom for the whole house. The room is an attic full of sloping ceilings, to which a breakneck staircase leads.

The room and the house as a whole made a really good impression. It was clean and had its own small bathroom. When we entered the room (under the roof) it was extremely hot outside at 33 degrees and smelled really bad of sweat. The idea that it was poorly ventilated was a fallacy, as it turned out when using the bed. The bedding smelled so much like old sweat that I felt sick in the bed. Sleep was out of the question at all. The blanket couldn't be pulled higher than my knees because the smell was unbearable and the pillow also smelled unbearable. It would be a really nice place to stay. Unfortunately, that doesn't work at all and reduces the rating. Sorry, but beds and blankets have to be clean and fresh and not smell like the 5 mechanics who were there before. I doubt whether the bed linen was changed at all.

We rented a room there for one night on August 2nd, 2023.We will no longer make reservations there. Rooms are on the 1st floor and attic. Were on the first floor. The room was fine for 2 people. Starting with the bed. 2 single beds were put together. The mattress was a disaster. A simple foam mattress. Just way too soft. There was an unpleasant smell throughout the house. You have to share the bathroom with the other 4 residents. It wasn't described that way either. In the hallway there is a small kitchen with a microwave and kettle and various teas and coffees to prepare yourself. It is also a good route to Braunschweig.Our conclusion.We definitely won't book a room there again. Luckily we only spent one night in this house.Holger and Karin BuhrWittmund

Very nice hostess, very hard working, rooms good, very clean and adequately furnished, if you don't feel comfortable here...I'm here again after more than two years, I can only say it's a little more perfect than on my first visit, everything is very clean and you can clearly see that the hostess is trying to accommodate all of the guests' wishes.I didn't notice any smells or hanging wallpaper. The price-performance ratio cannot be topped.I will definitely come back

A very pleasant accommodation. The beds are soft, the rooms - nice and relatively large. The mini-kitchen includes everything you need: a kettle, a coffee machine with pads, a microwave, a refrigerator and, of course, crockery and cutlery. The shared bathroom is also spacious, there is both a bathtub and a shower with great attachments.The location is very good: on the outskirts of Braunschweig, quiet and green, many hiking and tour starting options. There is a tram stop within a minute's walk, 20 minutes - and you are in the center. Shopping opportunities are right next door.The owner is an incredibly friendly, lovely and helpful woman.Me and my family really enjoy being here.

I was very disappointed with the accommodation. The bed linen smelled extremely like sweat, the shower was only lukewarm on 3/5 days (otherwise cold!). The smell in the house is generally unpleasant.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Efficient internet, TV in every room. Bathroom clean, shower and bathtub. Modest kitchen. Nice owner. Overall, I recommend it.

Unfortunately, we had to learn something different than what has been written here so far. Use tissues in the trash can, smell of sweat in the room, wallpaper peeling off the walls. Generally just very unclean.
