We were a little bit scared, because of the negative reviews. Nevertheless we booked 1 night for a sleepover after day in a Heide Park.We arrived at 22:30 in the evening. The reception was open, there we found a phone number which we called to get the instructions for check-in. The lady on a phone spoke a broken english, but in the end we got the instructions via SMS. We found a room key and filled some papers on the reception. The room was a bit older, but totaly fine for 1 night sleepover. We also paid for the breakfast, which was in a style of a buffet and it was perfect.Would I sleep here again if I went to the Heide park again? Yes.I think the negative reviews are from people who booked the cheapest hotel in the area and expected to arrive at hotel Hilton.

The price-performance ratio is not right here at all.The accommodation and yard look as if they have been left to decay.Musty and carelessly furnished holiday apartment.The entire property is spacious and offers the best potential for families, but has probably seen its best years behind it.

Disgusting, disgusting, messed up, outdated, dead mouse in front of our door for days. People don't book and would rather pay a little more. We had the holiday apartment which wasn't furnished at all, no cutlery, no plates, nothing you need in a kitchen. The floor was partially cracked, the TV didn't work at times, the lights didn't all work, power cables were lying open all over the apartment, with small children they wouldn't survive, the shower had disgusting mold, the washing machine was there but it didn't work like so many things, there was something everywhere Rum, there was a hechsler in the children's room, we don't know why. You sleep on pressboard panels, it's a mystery to me that you can even rent something like that out.

This is the worst place my friend, her daughter and I have ever seen.This shabby thing doesn't deserve the name accommodation at all.It is a disgrace that this accommodation is/is allowed to be offered for overnight stays at all.The operators' license should be revoked immediately so that they can no longer offer it as an overnight accommodation and earn money from it.The room (number 22) is just disgusting, dirty, the beds don't deserve the name bed at all, they're more like cheap loungers than beds.There are disgusting stains everywhere: on the carpet, on the sofa, on and under the mattresses, etc.It smelled musty, all the equipment was very old, cheap and run down.We looked at the room, were shocked, disgusted, shocked and after just 1 minute we decided not to stay there.It makes you feel like you want to have your whole body disinfected as soon as you stay in the room for even a short moment...!Instead, we quickly booked a room somewhere else in a hotel for the night because unfortunately we couldn't make the long journey home at such a late evening.If we hadn't gotten another room, we would definitely have slept in the car instead of in this flophouse.This lousy place shouldn't even cost ten euros per night and unfortunately we have €87 for the night + €30paid for breakfast (neither of which we took advantage of), which we are now very annoyed about.One star is actually too many, but less is not possible...I immediately informed Booking.Com about this and asked them to refund us the non-cancellable costs.

Horrible!The complex with the various buildings is actually located in a beautiful street with well-kept houses, but the Wolterdinger Hof is obviously long past its good times (presumably under different management). Our apartment was absolutely carelessly furnished. The bathroom was dirty with urine stains on the toilet seat and hair from the previous tenants. The beds didn't look freshly made, just turned up. There was a smell of mouse urine in the hallway and there was mouse droppings in the corners. The outdoor areas are completely unkempt, old laundry baskets in the green pond. The breakfast was poor, dry baked rolls and only a little sausage. The same displeasure could be seen in the faces of the other guests. Communication with the landlords was only possible via text message or call as the reception was deserted the whole time.We can only advise against staying here... it's definitely not more than a PLACE.We ended up there because we were looking for accommodation with a dog near Heidepark... on our next visit we'd rather stay further away!

The rooms are totally outdated, the toilet doesn't flush or keeps flushing. There was hair everywhere in the bathroom from the tenant. As soon as you arrive you have to check in alone, this is only done over the phone. The lady who answers the phone only speaks broken German and is very difficult to understand. Breakfast is OK. If you just want to go to Heidepark and don't want to spend a lot of money, you can book this accommodation if you can live with the problems here and don't want to spend a lot of money. Otherwise we would never book here again.

We were looking for cheap accommodation near Heidepark for two adults and two children. Both points were met.Would I book again if I went to Heidepark? Yes!Would I spend a longer vacation here with the family? No!What I have read in reviews about the hotel is largely true and I can understand it. However, I don't want to vent frustration here, I just want to describe what awaits you here.Arrival: self check in at reception. This means filling out the registration form yourself and operating the EC device yourself. Photo of the payment via WhatsApp to the boss's number. You then take the key out of the box. Complete. With a little courage, men (and women) can do it. We then helped an older couple.The rooms: the entire complex is as lonely as the reception. You get the feeling that things aren't being taken care of all the time. We had an apartment on the upper floor. When booking I asked for an oven. Unfortunately, this was not fulfilled.We actually wanted to cater for ourselves in the evening, but the facilities were more like in a student booth. It would certainly have been possible, but we ended up going out for pizza. On the whole the rooms were clean. But getting old. I can imagine that there are worse rooms than ours on the complex.Breakfast: was not booked by us. We made ourselves breakfast in the room and went to Heidepark.Conclusion: Some people expect the best performance for the lowest price. If you want to get upset about the equipment, you can certainly do so. It was OK for one night. I think assembly craftsmen are also in good hands here. After our overnight stay, we noticed that there was a ladder leaning against our window all night long. We found it somehow funny and indicative of our stay.

Beds are very simple, like in a child's room, and are scuffed up. Bathroom with bathtub and the hose from the hand shower was a bit broken. Some windows cannot be opened! The room smells a bit but there is a fan available. It's a shame about the windows!! When you arrive you have to call the staff and they will tell you where the key to the room is. Then you go to the room yourself!! Breakfast 9€ per person! Well, it goes like this... cobwebs and spiders everywhere you look. But the woman (the staff responsible for everything) is very nice and tries to do everything right :) it's fine for one night. There is a TV and a fitted kitchen.

I wouldn't recommend this guesthouse to anyone.. no one comes forward when you arrive.. you have to look for your key yourself..Our bathroom was moldy and the yard was also very unkempt. We had a bush full of bees outside our window...When you talk to the owner, you shouldn't hear that you should be washed upThis guesthouse is impossible

The arrival was beautifully strange. The reception was not staffed and I had to go to the computer myself, start the cash register system and pay myself and simply take the keys away from there.When I called someone there and the manager was on the other end of the line, things didn't get any easier because she had a very strong Asian accent, so we had to sort it out via text message.The rooms were a huge shock for us. There were seven of us and we had booked two rooms (all adults). In the first room, the four-bed room, there were two children's beds, with a pink plastic frame and bed linen with monkeys, giraffes and elephants on them. The ceiling was a maximum of 1.60m long and the bed was 1.60m long. None of us would have fit in there; I, for example, am 1.94m tall. When I called and asked what this was about, I was told that these were beds for adults, but if I wanted we could swap the room with a double bunk bed (also for children). We preferred to leave this alone.In addition, the floor was completely swollen in one place and bent down very far as soon as you stepped on it.The drawer with the cutlery simply fell off and the manager just said: “Nothing was broken, other customers weren’t like that either”.The hardship came in the next room, because everything there was a bit run down, but the bathroom was bad. The toilet didn't work. I called them again and they said the caretaker would be coming soon and we should go play outside on the playground during that time.The caretaker came and just said that he wasn't a caretaker, just the temporary help. He looked at the toilet and said: "It's broken, I can't do anything, there's no time left".In the end we should just get a “new room, no extra charge”.But the sink in this room was broken. There was a hole in there. The "caretaker" simply put tape over it (the next morning it was already leaking).I then specifically called what I should do now, i.e. which room we should keep, because the toilet doesn't work in one and the sink doesn't work in the other.At first I couldn't reach anyone, then someone else answered the phone and said that we should keep the third room for now.The next morning I went to reception to hand over a key as I found it strange that we were allowed to use three rooms without paying for the third.The lady at reception said we should keep them for now, she's talking to her boss.During the day we were in Heide Park when I got the call from the manager. She didn't let me finish a word and shouted at me in her dialect about what the whole thing was about. Why do we have three rooms but only paid for two, we should immediately give back the one room key, only booked two rooms, then please only use two rooms.She was incredibly rude and yelled at me so much that I got angry and then called my travel agent.At the end she told me I was a little child.I then drove back to the accommodation 4 hours before the park closed (immediately after the phone call) to hand over the key. Since no one was there again, I called to ask where the key was going.I had such a hard time understanding the manager because of her accent that I asked her to text me again. She did so reluctantly, but the German was so bad that I had to puzzle over what that meant for a few minutes.Then came the message:“Recommendation: Maybe learn German if you don’t understand me? And maybe grow up too?”On the phone she said that I was very childish and that I had no business there and that my friends and I should pack our things and leave.In the end we were happy to leave.

The room was completely dirty, there were small animals running around on the walls and on the ceiling. They wanted a new room. Nobody was at the reception Then we finally sent a message that we could change the room. The room was messy, not the best, but definitely clean and no animals crawling around everywhere. I wouldn't come again and wouldn't recommend it, see pictures belowv

In a good location, from which a short distance to the bus stop to get to the center of Soltau if necessary and a train station a few kilometers away from where you can go to, for example, Bremen, Hamburg or Hanover.The hotel itself was quite a disappointment. The customer service is bad and the hotel keepers didn't want to speak a word of English. This also makes the check-in really difficult because everything happens over the phone and the woman on the other end refuses to speak English. We got in with the help of another couple who spoke fluent English in addition to German, otherwise we would have been left without a room.The breakfast is exactly the same every single day, and we didn't even get room cleaning even though we asked for a translator in German. Foreigners seem to be treated badly. In addition, breakfast cost €5 a pint per morning, but since we were foreigners, this cost us €9.90 per pint per room. In other words, you should not come here without knowing the German language.In addition to all this, there were rabbits on display, of course for the smallest ones in the family. But the rabbits were treated so badly that some of them are sick. When breakfast is served, they advertise the possibility of buying rabbits because, they say, you can't take care of them all. And this "inability" gives them the right to inflict pain on innocent animals. When we offered them green grass through the 1.5x1.5m cage, the rabbits quickly came to eat, as if they hadn't eaten in many days. Only dry Patong chips and corn kernels available. There was hardly any hay anywhere.I can't recommend this place to anyone.

Booked 2 weeks before arrival. Not even 24 hours before arrival (around 9 p.m.) we were called by the hotel and forced to pay for the booking online. We would have received account details via SMS. We refused because we would pay on site and not over the phone. On the day of arrival we didn't get a room, even though a reservation existed and was confirmed by the hotel.

Clean rooms, quiet location. A bit of a lot of "checking in yourself" (no one at the reception, calling, paying for the SMS instructions yourself on the device, registering, looking for the key...), it worked out and was otherwise ok.
