A good value for money hotel with a good view. Breakfast can be booked additionally. The location is also very good. 15 minutes walk from the train station. And very few minutes from the sea. The rooms are pleasantly sized and clean. There is also a drinks/snack machine and a coffee machine at the reception

I spent one night in the hotel and was satisfied. The service was very courteous and attentive, the rooms were clean and the breakfast buffet was also good and was constantly checked and replenished. Not to forget the great location on the water. All in all, very good value for money.

We booked a family room. There was enough space for the four of us. The beds were very comfortable, but the blankets were too thick for the time of year.The breakfast buffet was varied, tasty and very well organized by the staff. However, there was not enough space here for all breakfast eaters. My daughter would also have liked more cornflakes on offer. I would also add 2 more children's chairs.With 6 floors we sometimes had to wait forever for the elevator. A second elevator would have been really great.Otherwise we were very satisfied.

We stayed at the Hotel Wilhelmshaven for one night because we were invited to an event at the pumping station. The hotel has a great location. It was a 5-minute walk to the pumping station and we were also at the sea in 5 minutes. The room on the 6th floor had a great view of Lake Banter. A parking space was available free of charge directly at the hotel.All in all, this was great value for money!

The hotel itself is quite nice, and the rooms are also acceptable. You have to know what you want. There is nothing to sit and read as there are no comfortable seats in the room, only stools without backrests. If you travel a lot and only need the room to rest and sleep, it's enough.What is absolutely unacceptable for this price is the lack of soundproofing. During the last week of June, on our floor in room 503 next door, every morning from 6 a.m. there was trampling around and making noise. The first morning I listened to it, the second morning I banged it on the wall. This led to the fact that on the third morning at 6 a.m. there was a knock on the wall next door so that we could get up too. So they didn't want to understand that they were too loud and they didn't care at all. So if you have inconsiderate neighbors, it's not a relaxing holiday and somehow people like that are always there. Their door apparently didn't have a handle, so it always slammed loudly, no matter what time of day it was. The entire hallway was definitely affected by this, as the door was in front of us. This is an absolute no-go.For this reason and only because there is no soundproofing, the price for an overnight stay is only €45 to €50.And what I can't stand at all is when people use hotels with their children. If hotels make this possible, then please always accommodate families with children on the lowest floor so that no other guests are disturbed by noise. And anyway, why do small children have to stay in hotels? After all, guests without children also pay a lot of money for their stay.There is no safe, so you don't use the room cleaning service, which was practically planned by the hotel. Of course you save money on room cleaning and donating €1 to aid organizations for skipping cleaning is a bit small.The staff was very friendly.It was clean in itself too.But letting your neighbors wake you up at 6 a.m. every day is, as I said, an absolute no-go

I don't fully understand some of the negative reviews. All hotels have different categories. If you want more amenities, you just have to book differently. Basically the room was clean and sufficient for 2 nights. What was really annoying is the ventilation in the bathroom, which runs constantly. I can understand the explanation somewhat, but I've never had it in a hotel before. Somehow the door wasn't 100% tight either, it always made a noise that occurs when there is negative pressure. I think it was because of the seal. Regarding breakfast, I have to say that it was absolutely fine for the price and category. What I find a bit unfortunate is that the room is too small for the size of the hotel. Online check-in worked great. I find the parking lot sufficient and not too small. The location is great, 3 minutes to the dike. The staff we encountered was always friendly. I think it's good that you can decide whether you want a cleaning. Please also include your selection when booking online. I told the cleaning guy that he didn't have to go into the room. All in all, considering the category, I would book it again because of the good prices.

The stay with my partner was really nice. The room was clean and everything you needed was there (towels, hairdryer, TV, WiFi, etc.). The breakfast was also great, there was something for everyone. The vegetarian and vegan alternatives were particularly great at breakfast :). All in all, I would definitely recommend the hotel. PRICE PERFORMANCE TOP

We were there with a group, the location is great directly behind the dike, all the sights are within walking distance. The breakfast room is too small. Staff was very friendly. Except for the bathroom and the missing closet, it was a nice stay

The hotel is located directly on the dike. We had a great view of the harbor and the lake. You can walk to the North Sea Passage and the pedestrian zone in just a few minutes. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are modern and cozy. The breakfast buffet is also rich and varied, fresh fruit, rolls and bread and the coffee is delicious. The only thing that could be worked on there is the parking situation. Too few parking spaces for all hotel visitors. But all in all we felt very comfortable there.
