The room was a tired, musty, unpleasant affair.It smelled bad, the cleanliness was mediocre. The rooms are only cleaned upon request, and fresh towels are only available daily upon request.The breakfast was ok, but you could expect more for the price.The parking situation is rather adventurous.The employees were very friendly, that can be mentioned positively.The price/performance ratio is not right here. Personally, I would neither recommend the hotel nor want to stay in it again.

The room was adequately furnished, but the price and performance didn't match. Traces of mold in the joints, no soap in the shower, a hot floor in the bathroom with no control options and a bed that was far too short. If you can't find anything better you can go there, but there are far better hotels in Oldenburg.

Update: I've now corrected myself down to the minimum of 1 star because our assistant has been calling here for 5 days to get a reasonable invoice and instead she's being insulted on the phone. I understand staff shortages, but that's just not possible.Original review:Phew. I don't even know where to start. I only rate this hotel because no one from the hotel staff is interested in whether the guest was satisfied with the stay or whether something could be improved.The positive first: the water pressure in the bathroom was great.Let's start with the room.Yes, I was a solo traveler and I have nothing against slightly smaller single rooms, but here you could hardly turn around on your own axis, especially in the bathroom, where you first had to squeeze between the radiator and the sink before closing the door can.Normally, in this price range, you can offer a double room for sole use or at least design the room so that the user doesn't get claustrophobic.The room was clean, although no one even bothered to remove the mosquitoes that had been squashed on the walls by the various previous tenants. It's not surprising that there are always mosquitoes in the room, as there is no protection against them on the window and only a curtain (which would also be happy to be washed) to darken things.The hotel is extremely noisy, the other guests weren't even particularly loud, but you can really hear every word and every movement, sleep was only possible with earplugs. But then the location facing the street no longer bothered us.The hotel gets around its obvious staff shortage with silly references to environmental protection, so you only get room cleaning if you ask for it at reception at the specified times.Sorry, that's not possible for a hotel in this price range, this isn't an easy-budget place for €60 a night. Unbelievable.On the subject of breakfast: you only find out the price of €17.50 for a buffet that isn't overly stocked when you check out, otherwise I would have skipped it because the price here is also exorbitant. You can also notice the lack of staff here, there is no clearing up.The next unpleasant surprise came when checking out: no card payment. Luckily I still had a lot of cash because my request to send me a bill for the two breakfasts was not received and I saw myself running to the savings bank.All in all, not a nice experience, especially for the price.

After my stay I discovered that my key was lost. I called the hotel directly, the employee was very friendly and checked immediately, but unfortunately couldn't find a key. Today (September 16th around 4 p.m.) I wanted to ask again whether the key was perhaps lost in my sister's room and whether I could please write down what the key looks like and how I can be reached. The employee immediately shut me down in an unfriendly manner and told me that I shouldn't call in the afternoon, that she just had 70 arrivals and was alone. She doesn't write anything down and she doesn't have a key. I think this behavior no longer has anything to do with the service I expect as a hotel guest.

I understand some people and what they come up with.The hotel is in a quiet location, but well adapted to traffic. It's not dusty, the rooms are fine, as is the bathroom.TV with almost all programs and free WiFi. The beds are perfectly fine. The food-breakfast buffet is good and plentiful, the dinner with half board is also good, the service isfriendly and helpful with all questions.If you just want to complain here, you should get a 5 star and higher hotelsearch and pay accordingly. We were here in July and are completely satisfied and can recommend the hotelHighly recommend value for money.

This was the worst hotel I have ever visited, our rooms were not cleaned for days and there were no clean towels, only after I had asked several times were we able to pick up the towels ourselves at the reception after midnight, always there. Since I and my 20-person crew had worked long and hard and sometimes only had 4 hours of sleep, we were told that there was a notice in the rooms that you had to let us know if you wanted the room cleaned. We then had the sign actually found, but very small and somewhat hidden, ridiculous and yet annoying at the same time, isn't it a given that a hotel room is cleaned every day, the trash can is emptied and you get clean towels???? I had booked 10 rooms for 6 nights and paid €135 for each room per night. I would almost say that we made a good turnover and of the 20 people only a few took advantage of the breakfast and yet my email stayed until still unanswered, two rooms were even temporarily inaccessible because the cards didn't work, our employees were tired and exhausted and had to wait an hour after midnight until the door could be opened again. I could add a few more things but I think this is enough to warn others, the hotel certainly won't be seeing any of us again.

Nice little hotel, but it's getting pretty old now. The rooms are WITHOUT air conditioning, which can be quite unbearable in the summer, especially at night. The bed was quite soft, the pillow resembled a balloon. The bathroom was well maintained and clean. The breakfast was okay. The dining room was air-conditioned. The hotel has some parking spaces and is barrier-free accessible.All in all, a solid okay.
