Spacious room with table, sofa, television, private bathroom and refrigerator and coffee maker area when leaving it. Everything very clean and cared for, comfortable mattress and parking right at the door. Very good price, quiet location although it is not the best for exploring the Harz area although it is not bad either. The host is very friendly, although she only speaks German so communication in English is not possible, we still understood each other with the translator. I give it 4 stars because everything was great.I would only put one "but" and it is the stinginess of the owners.I noticed that when I was outside someone would enter the room that I left locked with my money and valuables inside and this did not give me any security. It was a very short stay, it didn't need cleaning and I don't think they came in to do it, but rather to control the electricity consumption that the host is making. I came from the south of Spain in spring (a very hot region) and I don't tolerate the cold well at all and I also slept alone, so when I arrived at night after three days of rain, cold, hail and even snow, I expected to find a comfortable environment warm and comfortable but this was not possible and I was cold at night and I had to sleep with a coat over my pajamas because during the day they came in to lower the stove to the temperature that they would consider appropriate for them, but clearly not for me. and when he arrived at night it was cold. Furthermore, another detail of stinginess is that he left just enough toilet paper and soap for my stay and since I was only one person, he removed the pillow and blanket from the bed next to me, another detail that seems to me to be very stingy, since I would have appreciated having two pillows to lie down comfortably and read at night in bed.

Very friendly reception. Super good breakfast. Private bathroom and small kitchenette. Very calm and quiet. Pleasant host couple. Very close to the city centre, with the possibility of shopping/dining. A perfect place to stay for a couple of tired walking legs
