We booked a double room.Thursday: the reception was no longer occupied at 5:50 p.m., we found the key on the counter, anyone could have checked in. We couldn't use the parking space that we had booked because, firstly, no one could tell us where it is (the gentleman on the hotline tried hard, but ultimately failed) and secondly, the sensor to open the underground car park was not on the key chain. A nice lady who was responsible for breakfast helped us in the morning.Friday: 8 :30 the reception was unoccupied. At around 3:30 p.m. we returned from the day trip, the reception was unoccupied. We went to the room, the room was not cleaned (night € 120), no clean towels. We found that we had the only room without one Curtains, waving passers-by on the bridge opposite, beautiful view, but unfortunately not usable, privacy zero, roller blind, room dark - no one at reception later either. Used towels were kept and used again. Saturday 8:30 a.m. reception unoccupied. Day trip return 4:30 p.m. Room not cleaned, no fresh towels. 5:20 p.m. Reception occupied, the lady was visibly surprised by our descriptions and also tried hard to get fresh towels, beds were made, room cleaning was not done, no staff. Maximum return on the back and at the expense of the health of the staff, no hotel standard, Rather premium youth hostel with a sea view. Feather beds despite allergies, no remedy. We cannot recommend this hotel under any circumstances, the price is below ground compared to the service.

We were on site from 10/16/24 to 10/19/24.Cozy rooms, very friendly service and delicious breakfast.The employees try very hard to make the guest as pleasant as possible.We'll definitely be back.Thanks !

Impossible service!!!During the conversation at the reception they simply hung up!!The reception was great on the last visitoverwhelmed !!Reception never occupied!!The breakfast buffet was a disaster!!!The last time for us!!!There is something better!!!

Unfortunately, this hotel and its business practices turned out not to be recommended for me. Due to an acute illness, I asked to change my booking by telephone.A probably incompetent employee promised me this over the phone. This was not possible when we asked for confirmation. After I received the invoice, I asked to check the process again. There was no further contact after that. Now, 16 months after the incident, I received a reminder without comment. When asked by telephone, the matter was not addressed at all. I can only recommend not making any telephone arrangements with this hotel.

First of all: the review refers to a holiday apartment that is managed by the Four Seasons Hotel and not to the hotel itself.Service: the lady at reception was somewhere in the hotel, after a call it took around 10 minutes until she was there. Customer service is rather underplayed here. There was also no friendly greeting. You then received the key more or less without comment; the most important thing for the lady was whether payment had already been made. At least she accompanied us to the apartment. However, the apartment is around 100 meters from the hotel, the path leads past a smelly, overfilled garbage container.Then the apartment. I've been to a few holiday apartments, but I've never seen anything this disgusting. Lovely, thrown together, poorly maintained, uncomfortable bed, huge, greasy leather sofa. There is a wooden table on the balcony that, oh wonder, is moldy. Decoration that makes you feel somehow comfortable? Unavailable. The only advantage: the location right near the beach, which is why we chose this accommodation. By the way, the pictures on the internet are of other apartments, of course, you can't advertise them to anyone.I would absolutely not recommend this apartment to anyone. And that means the whole hotel downstairs is gone for me

Nice hotel suitable for a short vacation. Dogs are welcome, rooms are large enough and even equipped with a small refrigerator and kettle. Friendly service, the breakfast was balanced. We felt comfortable there. There are plenty of restaurants in Bensersiel and they are within walking distance.

We stayed at this hotel for a long weekend. And overall we were disappointed. Already at check-in there seemed to be chaos. Everyone could only check in from 3 p.m. Accordingly, the queue was long. Overall, one has to speak of a service desert. You won't find employees except at certain times when they are overwhelmed. Our room wasn't made while we were there. For Sundays there is a note that this is standard. When we asked, we were told that the colleague said she had done it. And that brings us to the next topic. Shortly after we got home, I received a reminder via email for the total amount. I then called them and tried to clarify this. Shortly afterwards I received an apology with the news that only the tourist tax was open. I then tried to clarify this over the phone. I pointed out that you have to see it in the bookstore. Because I had a receipt from the cash register and it had the tourist tax as an item on it. All I heard was that she didn't have any receipt and her colleague said the amount hadn't been paid. Then I became really rude. I gave you the number of the receipt again in writing indicating when I paid and they were unable to find it. Finally I sent a photo of it. Then there was silence, but no further thanks or an apology. The breakfast was ok. I thought about complaining to the owner again in writing, but that probably doesn't make much sense. That's why I decided to give my review here.

Two months after the stay, I received a reminder for allegedly not paying the spa fee. A payment deadline of 14 days was set. After my call and the information that the hotel had paid the contribution via card immediately after arrival and collected it on the following working day, we received a reminder including a reminder fee just four days after the initial dated letter. After contacting me again via email, the employee was still unable to “relieve” us. Unbelievable and very annoying. It is impossible to imagine that customers who pay in cash no longer have any proof and may then receive a reminder notice.

We spent our short vacation with our dog in this hotel at the beginning of October. Our room facing the marina was extremely clean, nothing was missing. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. The only thing that is very sad is that the few employees are doing their best to satisfy the guests and are reaching their limits because they are completely overloaded because there is obviously a lack of staff here. We all felt very sorry for you!!! !!!! But they did their best. Will be back next year. Were back now, nothing has changed here since our last visit, employees are completely overloaded and now all the guests see it that way, and unfortunately this is reflected throughout the entire house , action is finally required here otherwise we would no longer book the hotel

Great location, hotel room is a bit old, could be cleaner, beds very shabby... We lovingly named the mattress "Kuhle and the Gang". There's never anyone at reception, everyone at the breakfast buffet is stressed, rather unfriendly and can't keep up. But the situation pulls it out.

Very nice hotel with a balcony, great view of the North Sea and the harbor. Breakfast very varied and delicious. Rooms bright, friendly and clean. Bed very comfortable... Bathroom pleasantly large, with shower... You feel comfortable here.

I got a complete apartment instead of the room I booked.Good breakfast, very attentive, friendly staff despite the high workload.The view and location are unbeatable.I really liked it and I will definitely come back
