The Braunschweiger Hof is a real gem and definitely one of the best hotels we have ever visited! As soon as we entered the house we were warmly greeted and immediately felt welcome - the family atmosphere that prevails here is unique. The staff are extremely attentive and literally read the guests' every wish. You can tell that they do their job with real passion, which is reflected throughout their entire stay.We were particularly impressed by the service, which is characterized by exceptional warmth and professionalism. Whether at the reception, in the restaurant, at the bar or in room service - everyone in the team contributed to making us feel comfortable and cared for from the very first moment. One employee, Steffi, particularly enriched our stay with her positive charisma and warm manner. Your attentive and courteous service left us with the impression that every detail is important and that the guests' wishes are really taken into account.A special highlight is the cozy hotel bar in the evening: Here you can end the day in a relaxed manner. The stylish, warm atmosphere invites you to linger, and the bartenders know their craft perfectly. Whether you enjoy a classic cocktail or a regional specialty, every drink is a pleasure. Unfortunately the bar wasn't open every evening, which was a bit of a shame as it definitely added to the feel-good factor of the stay.The rooms are lovingly furnished and very clean. We only found the beds to be a bit soft, but that hardly affected the sleeping comfort.What makes the Braunschweiger Hof so special is not only the high-quality furnishings and excellent cuisine, but also the noticeable personal commitment of the hosts and employees. Here you are not only served, but looked after - from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. We can highly recommend the Braunschweiger Hof and are already looking forward to our next stay!

Super nice house with a pleasant wellness area. The location is great and distances are short. The service is very attentive. The labeling of the premium hiking trails still needs to be worked on. They only deserve 1 star. Would love to come back.

Depending on your mood it could also be 3/5 stars, but since the nearby street keeps me from sleeping and my pastime is to write this review until it calms down (according to the reception at around 11 p.m. at the latest), it's over 1/5 just not over it:First of all, it is a well-located hotel with great, courteous service both at the reception and in the restaurant. The swimming pool and sauna area stand out as special amenities. Considering these points separately it would be a smooth 5/5. Surprisingly, it's not that simple:My impression is that the hotel is long and quite winding. Every now and then a few steps down and up again; It certainly has its circumstances, but intuitively finding the room is different.The single room number 10 is modern and beautifully furnished, possibly recently renovated? (at 16m² it's not the largest but this is known in advance and only serves as a side note) The layout of the room with the bathroom is a bit awkward, which meant there was very little space for the toilet (I'm 1.70m and 65kg). not the widest either and still find it cramped). And speaking of this: While everything else in the room looks new and is in top condition, the toilet looks as if it has been used as a rest stop toilet for many years... It's not about cleanliness, this one is a given, but rather the unsightly wear and tear.In my opinion, not being able to offer comprehensive Wi-Fi in hotel rooms in the 21st century is pathetic, especially for a hotel of this class. The reception kindly offered me a meeting room to work in at short notice, which actually helped me. However, I still think walking across the hotel is suboptimal for good reception. I would have used my mobile data volume if the Telekom network didn't offer so much room for improvement at this point.I would also have liked a little more transparency: When I booked, I asked for 2 quiet rooms, but it goes without saying that this is not necessarily taken into account. However, getting rooms directly on Herzog Wilhelm Strasse (the city's lifeline) without "forewarning" is unpleasant. Closing the windows would help, in the summer without air conditioning it's a pain to keep the windows closed but unfortunately the bigger one...My suggestions for improvement:Install a few WiFi switches and stock up on ear plugs, then the guests have other options to pass the time than write a review 😉PS: you can really trust the reception, it's 11pm and it seems to be getting quieter 👍

Is a nice and very expensive place. The food is expensive and not a special experience. We even chose their romantic menu.The waiter almost kicked us out when he had to take a break.The waiter chose not to give money back, so took €9 in tip himself.

We had dinner on the terrace, which is a lovely place to linger. The service was great! We also liked the menu; There are even a remarkable number of vegetarian dishes! However, the food portions were far too small; but the prices are very high.
