By far the best hotel on the Harzer Hexenstieg route and also the one we stayed in. So beautiful on the Bode, the rooms were so stylishly decorated, the service staff was so great and so was the restaurant. We didn't want to continue hiking because it was so wonderful.

I can only recommend the accommodation. The location is great. You can quickly reach a variety of activities (more likely by car): thermal baths, drip caves, Brocken, Wernigerode, etc. We hiked to the suspension bridge on foot (approx. 1 hour).The rooms are very clean and nicely furnished.The breakfast was tasty and sufficient. The staff is super nice and funny. Thank you for your attention.The view from the window is simply a dream!

A bit hidden in the small Harz town of Neuwerk you will find the mountain sports & nature adventure hotel, right on the Bode and the Harzer Hexenstieg, chicly furnished, from here you can hike in all directions, Rübeland with its two caves is not far either, great Restaurant, be sure to reserve, the restaurant is closed on Mondays.

Lovingly and family-run small hotel. Beautiful and quiet location directly on the Harzer Hexenstieg. Completely new and tastefully furnished rooms. with a beautiful terrace directly on the river. Delicious and extensive breakfast. Extremely warm and helpful hosts. Small but nice evening menu. The goose leg was excellent. I would definitely like to mention the “refrigerator of trust” (wine, beer, soft drinks, etc.) from which you can help yourself at any time on a trust basis. This reflects the hotel philosophy. We would love to come here again and can highly recommend this house to anyone looking for peace, nature and relaxation. ...

Very good location! From the room there is a breathtaking view of the beautiful Bode. Surrounded by the mountains, you can switch off and regenerate after a long hike. The food is flawless and balanced. If I go on my next hiking holiday in the Harz, then only here!

It was a very pleasant stay!Very nice and modern rooms, an incredibly great atmosphere in the restaurant and in the hotel in general, very friendly and committed employees despite stressful situations, a very kind host and the food in the restaurant and the breakfast were also very tasty.Gladly again! We were there from July 12th. - 14.07. to guest. We had 7 rooms and celebrated our wedding anniversary there. The food in the restaurant was great, the rooms were very modern and stylish. The environment was clean and, despite the short time, made it easy to just relax. The owners are passionate people and run the hotel with passion. They are very flexible. The evenings spent together by the fireplace were simply lovely! Always my pleasure.

Just beautiful, the rooms with a terrace are just great. The breakfast is rich and leaves nothing to be desired.The restaurant in the evening was just super delicious. We'll definitely be back.

Really a great hotel, right on the Harzer Hexenstieg and in the immediate vicinity of the Rappbodetalsperre. The room is lovingly and modernly furnished, the bathroom has a rain shower and the balconies directly on the ground invite you to relax.The hotel itself is modern and attractively furnished and there is a restaurant that is (unfortunately only) open from Wednesday to Sunday. We were there on a Tuesday and had the opportunity to place an order with all the other guests at the local pizza takeaway, which was then organized by the hotel owner. A really great service!The staff is super friendly and you feel like you're in good hands here right from the start.If you're ever thirsty, there's a wide selection of freshly chilled drinks available at reception at any time of the day. From sparkling wine, white and red wine to beer and lemonade from Fritz and mineral water, everything your heart desires is available here. Everything is conveniently booked into your room.We'll definitely be back!

I can only recommend the Bodetaler Basecamp Lodge. The rooms were nicely decorated (a touch of adventure was in the air), great bathroom, hot shower (!!!), super clean. The veranda directly on the ground is a dream. The main house is very tastefully decorated. The entire team is incredibly friendly and helpful. Delicious food. I could have charged the electric car. For us mountain bikers there was a lockable bike cellar, a bike washing area and an e-bike gas station. It was perfect!!!!Gladly again at any time. I wish the Badecamp Lodge continued success!!!!

The lodge is beautiful and, above all, has a great location for great hikes and for anyone looking for peace and quiet.The service staff were all friendly, but some were unprofessional and inflexible when it came to requests. If something doesn't go as it should, there shouldn't be an excuse, but an apology to the guests.The maxi bar prices are overpriced. All in all a lovely idyllic place with great furnishings, but too expensive for what is on offer.
