We always enjoyed eating at Klütz and we usually enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately, there have been frequent incidents regarding the service recently, which is why we as a family have decided to go to other good restaurants where we feel welcome. Fortunately, Burgwedel has a lot of them.In June we visited for a birthday party to eat asparagus and since I don't eat asparagus, I asked several times for a single empty plate. At some point I just took an empty plate because everyone else was almost finished and I still hadn't eaten anything. After the waitress pointed this out, she cheekily said, "Well then she finally has her plate."My grandmother also wanted to reserve a table for Christmas on time, as she does every year in August. On the phone they said they suddenly had to do it online - which I find a bit difficult to expect seniors to reserve a table online. Well, when I looked in there was nothing left about reservations for Christmas, it was probably just too late, bad luck, that can happen. However, my grandma wanted to make sure for herself and called again to make sure. There was a lot of laughter on the phone and the statement "You can come back next year", which led us to the final decision not to set foot in this facility again.

Stopped spontaneously for dinner on the way back to Hamburg in the evening. Very good food, very friendly staff and spontaneous overnight stay. Very good value for money and very good and rich breakfast received. I would go there again and again for dinner or overnight stay or both. Thank you for the lovely stay.

The three of us were just eating there, I called beforehand and said something free would be available in an hour, super tasty 😋 we ate schnitzel soup, we had a change in the order, no problem, no hunter sauce and no salad, all because of gluten-free and lactose but delicious 😋 vegetables for it Finger licking soooooooo good 3 times we were asked if everything was OK, when we were clearing away if we would like dessert with a smile 😃 to the waitress I then said no thanks, everyone was full but the specialty of the house, namely the bill, we were immediately asked if it might be a schnappsWhen the bill came despite reordering lactose... it was cheaper because the salad and sauce were not charged despite the additional vegetablesEverything is always right for us, even the 22 km journey we take on ourselves, everything is great here, you are all great

Went there again after an unfortunately long time - not only the schnitzel tastes great there, but also the salad!!! I was more than thrilled with the mixed salad with chicken 🤩😋😋😋😋. The ingredients are great, the freshness, the chicken, the dressing - so good!!! But he has to do that for 16€ 😉. The service was very friendly and took time. Just great!!!!!

UPDATE 06/2024: Unfortunately, the service has developed very unfavorably.Waited three quarters of an hour for the food and didn't receive a greeting from the kitchen. When we asked about this, we were told that the food was coming anyway and that the bread had run out (but the next table got it). During the very good meal (kitchen is top!), the service didn't even ask if it was good or if you wanted anything else (drinks etc.), the other tables were given more attention. We had reserved and were treated very badly and snippily. There used to be a bargain when paying, but now there was just a check-in like in a third-rate pub. It's a shame, we felt very uncomfortable as guests.

We went there to eat again after a long time and unfortunately have to report negatively again.The food is very good but the service is not acceptable for us:Even though we had made a reservation, the service team was unable to take us to our table.Then we waited almost an hour for the food (asparagus + steak).The waiting time is not the real problem: but we neither received the usual bread with quark nor were we offered another drink.We were simply uninterested in the service!When we asked about the bread, we were told that the bread was still in the oven (1 hour?) and that we would get the food straight away. Reason: There would be too much to do (of at least 20 tables, maybe 6 were occupied.)We were there at 6:45 p.m. and got our food a few minutes before 8 p.m.But we were still lucky: after another half hour we were asked if we wanted something more to drink.We were definitely there for the last time for a very long time. If you have the feeling that you are not wanted as a customer, you should avoid the location.A pity!
