Very nice and friendly reception. We were immediately greeted with a request to come to dinner a little earlier (around 6:00 p.m.) as it was very fully booked and most reservations were made around 6:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Wasn't a problem. So we went to eat early - all the tables on the terrace had a “Reserved” sign. Placed the order and waited for the big rush to arrive. However, that didn't happen. 6 tables were occupied over the next hour and another 7 tables remained empty.I found it a bit strange when a couple was turned away (as they were neither hotel guests nor had a reservation) because the restaurant was completely booked. So the 7 tables remained empty. In my opinion not very guest friendly. The food I ordered, sour meat with fried potatoes, tasted excellent and was also a very large portion - now I notice the note on the menu that some dishes are also available in small portions. The breakfast buffet the next morning was stocked with everything you need for breakfast - scrambled eggs were freshly prepared in the breakfast room. Our room was very large, clean and functionally furnished. Beds were very comfortable, at least for me. Unfortunately the water pressure on the 2nd floor is very low, so you have trouble getting wet in the shower :-)).Should I be in the area again, another overnight visit is very likely.

2 rooms for 3 nights - a difference like day and night...On the first night we stayed in room 22 on the ground floor. New floors, new bathroom, electric. Roller shutters... OK so far (too modern sink with very low water spout, no storage space in the bathroom other than the window sill, some narrow beds with rolls were in the room, only a small bottle of shampoo/shower gel). The next morning we were told that there had been a mistake and we had been given the wrong room. In addition, a guest with a wheelchair could only be accommodated there. From now on it should be room 29 (1st floor without elevator). We agreed, also to enable the wheelchair user to stay overnight.Room 29 (formerly 25, as you can read under the note stuck to the room door) is a family room with 2 rooms. In room 2 there were two beds, in the larger room there was a double bed, a closet, a sideboard/desk and a TV. The bathroom is very small and functionally furnished (60 x 60 cm shower, small sink, toilet, no storage space - despite being a family room with 4 beds). It was only at second glance that we realized what a dirty place it was. A layer of dust on the bedside table, wallpaper torn off in the second room, the bathroom almost ready for demolition (storage basket in the shower hanging crooked, toilet with hairline cracks, cobwebs, mold stains, loose shower head attachment, dirty basket with 1 x shower gel on the shelf at the sink, etc.).When I commented the next morning that the room was absolutely unacceptable, the hotel employee who asked about the possibility of swapping just smiled and said: "I'll send someone in again!" We declined the offer because we had already done our own cleaning.Attached are a few photosReally a nuisance because we had booked a total of three nights and had to spend two of them in the sinkhole.I didn't see anyone in a wheelchair the whole time...Never again!

The rooms are ok, not the best finish but not the worst ever. The bad review I am giving is because of the half way cleaning they have made. The windows are so dirty you cannot see thru them and the room is dusty. They probably change the sheets and wash the bathroom but that is it. Charging 70-80 euros per night you need to make a bit more effort.
