We were there for a week in August. We liked it very much. We will come back. A very appealing breakfast buffet. The food was very good, always freshly cooked. The room with a large balcony was very nice.

Small, quiet but centrally located hotel. The family room (2 bedrooms, lounge and bathroom) was great. Perfect for families with 2 children.The food was good. For dinner there was always a soup, a main course and a dessert. If you didn't like something, an alternative was offered.The price-performance ratio was absolutely right for us.The hotel is centrally located, you can easily start hikes from there. The bus, which runs twice an hour to Goslar or Clausthal-Zellerfeld, is a 5-minute walk from the hotel.We felt very comfortable in the Wald-Landhaus and had a lovely holiday in Hahnenklee.Many thanks to the hostess.

Unfortunately I can't recommend it. The food wasn't special. There were mainly potatoes and meat from the hairdresser, the vegetables were lukewarm and without spices. Once there was rice that was overcooked and unsalted and there were a few lettuce leaves with a slice of lemon that was probably supposed to replace the dressing. We have never eaten so badly. However, the breakfast was quite good.

We stayed in the forest country house for five days and it was beautiful. The food was plentiful and we liked it, especially the dessert ;), breakfast buffet style was plentiful and had a great selection. The room was big enough, the bathroom was new and after my husband stopped the bed from squeaking with a dice cup, the night was quiet and peaceful. The location of the hotel, with a gate directly onto the forest path, was ideal for us and if it had been up to our dachshunds, we would have taken even more walks. No tasty food, always potatoes in all variations, ready-made goods, nothing homemade. If you are there for 14 days, the food repeats itself again from Monday to Sunday.The owner cannot cook.Saggy mattress and dirty.I complained but was assured that it was new. When I complained again, the mattress was turned over, I then looked and saw that it was downright dirty and the ornaments on it were only faintly visible, so much too NEW.The room key also matched another door. There shouldn't be anything like that.

So we had a lovely time in the forest country house. All requests were responded to in a friendly manner, whether it was meat-free food or a pillow for the injured shoulder. Our dog Paul was also warmly welcomed. The breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful, the dinner was home-style and tasty. We felt very comfortable and would like to thank Jasmin and Thomas again for the great time
