Coming to Bad Füssing is always a pleasure. The Hotel Juwel is great, the staff are very friendly, the food is great, the rooms are very nice. You can relax well, the Johannesbad is good for body and soul. And then there are wonderful concerts and great shopping opportunities. What more could you want?

Bad Füssing is just a beautiful place.The Hotel Juwel is beautiful and is very centrally located. The food was very good, the staff very friendly. The room is already a bit old. The bathroom is very small and there is no way to dry your bathing suits as there are no radiators.

I have never experienced a hotel that meets all of the guest's needs like the Juwel. Food, ambience, service and entertainment - perfect! Highly recommended!!!

We (couple around 70) arrived for wellness and cycling via "spa dich fit" for 5 nights/hp in August 2024. We were informed a week in advance that the elevator was broken and the repair would take time. Despite major knee problems, it wasn't a problem for us, hopefully we wouldn't end up on the 3rd floor... OOHH yes, unfortunately no possibility of changing, it was difficult, but at least it was a training session!! Since the room was on the upper floor and August was really hot, the temperature in the room was sometimes over 30°C. We asked for a fan and got one ("this is our last one!"). A little cooling down. Bathroom and toilet were separate, everything was functional and clean. Maybe a little old, like the whole gem. Still, no reason for excessive criticism.Breakfast, afternoon snack and dinner are self-service, but served by staff behind each dish. The food was varied, tasty, and the drinks were self-service!! The staff is attentive and friendly. What was well received by many guests was the bar with dance music in the evenings. Not to our taste, because Caterina Valente or Rex Gildo from the oldie solo entertainer are not well received by us and Led Zeppelin increases the risk of a herniated disc among the predominantly older audience (like us)! Without fun: a successful evening entertainment for the audience at Juwel!The Johannisbad Therme (included in the price) is accessible to the public. Transport is free or can be reached in 5 minutes by bike and offers various thermal pools and a beautiful “lounging forest”. Better than a mini-therm in the basement of another hotel.Conclusion: The offer of this hotel is definitely recommended!

Nice hotel. A little old, but still good. Centrally located. Bus stop in front of the building. The three thermal baths can be easily reached on foot or by bus. Tickets for the Johannesbadtherme are always included. Underground parking is free. Nice staff, good food. Underground parking was free at the time. Now I have to pay. I find it a disgrace. Will go to another hotel in the future

The hotel is centrally located, bus stop to the Johannisbadtherme, Munich and Passau right in front of the house. Therme 1 is also very close.The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is varied and very tasty. The weather gods were kind to us, so we were able to use the beautiful terrace in the evening.Drinks until 8 p.m. all inclusive, great.We stayed in this beautiful hotel for 14 days and felt very comfortable. I would be happy to recommend it to others

Very nice, helpful and informative staff at reception.The food was a culinary delight every day as were the desserts.Cake in the afternoon shouldn't be down in the basement.Either upstairs in the dining room or on the terrace with parasols.The chefs are very friendly and the employees are courteous and friendly.As guests we felt like KINGS!!!!When the cleaning lady thanked you with a small letter, we were really very impressed with your hotel.It was hard for us to leave because they pampered us completely.If Bad Füssingen is a jewel again!!!!!We will recommend this gem.

Bad Füssing is always beautiful. The hotel is well located and has a good bus connection (40 m from the hotel) to the Johannesbad Therme (entrance fee included in the hotel price). There are enough parking spaces in the underground car park.

We stayed in the “Jewel” for 10 days. Unfortunately the elevator was broken on 5 days. We lived on the 3rd floor - so not very pleasant. This problem is not unknown in the "Jewel" but according to the boss it is "force majeure". The food also needs improvement. It was our first time in the “Jewel” and also our last time.

Wonderful for our short trip. Hotel is close to the center. Eat good; Drinks included with meals. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel parking spaces/underground car parks are subject to a charge. Entry to guest/spa resorts in Johannesbadterme free of charge.

I'm so sad 😥😥😥 (was there last year from August 6th to 12th, 2023)ArrivalReceived in a very small lobby with far too many suitcases and guests could not yet be accommodated in the roomUnfortunately, I also discovered some weak points in the room, which unfortunately did not meet expectations.The example of this is the separation of the toilet, which is opposite an area with a sink and shower, unfortunately without a door, in contrast to the toilet with a doorThe room was also designed with round arches, so that it is reminiscent of the Romanesque art of 1015, but the hotel with the lobby and the individual floors is more in the magnificent, noble and French style.In addition, there is a lack of bed hygiene, which means that the duvets are not changed and I was there!Unfortunately, I also have a lot to criticize (complain) about the all-inclusive package.Let's start with breakfast, everything is ok and I have nothing to complain aboutLunch was OKCoffee and cake in the basement 🤣🤣🤣🤣 is also funny because you go to the basement to laughThere wasn't even cocoa because that made me really sad.Unfortunately, the coffee buffet was NOT varied at all because there was only one type of cake per day, up to several daysIn total there were only 3 types of cake spread over 6 days, which is why I didn't find the buffet varied at allDinner was OK for most of the time in the hotel, with a few exceptions for dishes that were prepared in the kitchen, but there could have been more dishes, especially since it is a very small counter.There were also drinks with meals, but almost only juices and not even hot cocoa, which I didn't like that you weren't allowed to have drinks outside of meals (how stupid 😡😡😡😡)There was also a disco in the evening, which I had ZERO interest in and when I wanted to sleep, all the noise came from the dance bar in the basement, which really pissed me off like hydrochloric acidIn conclusion, I can only say that this hotel deserves a school grade of 3 with minus, because it is a hotel at all and NO hotel deserves a school grade of 4, but unfortunately what the hotel offers me is not enough.It's really a real shame to only barely achieve grade 3 with a grade of 3 out of 5 starsI'm far too kind to give it 3 out of 5 starsNormally I would only have to give 2 out of 5 stars or 4 out of 10 stars (grade 4, with 40%)Because out of 10 stars, 6 out of 10 would be achieved, i.e. grade 3 with MINUSPS TO THE HOTEL JUWEL (AND ANSWER PLEASE)I WISH THAT YOU WERE ALLOWED TO HAVE DRINKS OUTSIDE MEAL TIMES, THAT WOULD BE GREATBUT THAT'S A Pity🫤😕🫤😕😞⭐⭐(⭐)

We were regular guests for 18 years and felt comfortable. Since Richard Lummer took over the hotel and left, we have missed the personal atmosphere, the special politeness of the employees and, above all, the special greeting when checking in at the reception. The standard no longer meets our expectations, so we have booked another hotel for our next stay in Bad Füssing.
