We stayed at the inn as part of our 5 Rivers bike tour and had a very good overnight stay. The inn is rustic and inviting. Our room was very spacious, the breakfast was very good and the bikes could be safely stored in the garage. We'd love to come back.

We were guests for 2 nights with parking on site in the courtyard.According to the inn's own homepage, the double room is offered from €60, but when we asked via email we were quoted €85.The breakfast was clear on the first morning, because the other guests had already had breakfast, and then used up; On the second day it was more extensive, also because 6 guests showed up after us.The guesthouse hallway was decorated with faded dried flowers.

Old, outdated and you don't feel comfortable. It seems unclean, even though it probably isn't.Everything is more than simple and loveless.I can positively mention the breakfast.The restaurant was closed. That's why I can't write anything about this.

We were here as part of a bike tour and had a wonderful overnight stay. The rooms and the dining room are rustic and inviting. The food was very good and the beer was fresh. A very warm economy.

Very nice inn, very good food, great rooms and a very nice and warm welcome. Arrived there after a long, tiring and stressful day and immediately felt very relaxed again. The beer from the in-house brewery is definitely impressive.Definitely again next time, keep it up.

Yes, you haven't seen anything like that in this day and age, an absolute sleaze and for so much money you can't help but vomit, I wouldn't even let a pig in a room like that. Not to mention the nice reception from a nagging old woman. Just stay away.!!!!!!!!

Not recommended! The homepage suggests a nice stay, but... You can sleep there, but you won't feel comfortable. However, the reservation via email was problem-free and extremely friendly.

We stayed here for n nights via the Gillamoos in Abensberg as guests as many things in the area were fully booked.The price was already a bit suspicious, but it's ok for what we experienced and shouldn't be any higher.When you arrive, you are shocked to see the office, the reception and see the whole mess of files, papers and a lot of clutter that can be found throughout the house. After ten minutes of calling, searching and waiting, the lady of the house strolled over, handed out the keys and that was it. Phew... what a house... spider webs everywhere... Christmas decorations are still hanging... plant pots brown with dirt... dead woodchip on the walls... smelly carpets around the stairwell. ...the room was worn out...old smelly pine furniture that was so worn out...bed was comfortable. The bathroom has a lot of defects, tile joints are dark, silicone could use new, water pressure is very low.Breakfast was not used, but according to friends it was subpar and hardly rich or variable.I don't think this house will last much longer. Really everything here could use a renovation, just like the staff.

Ideal location for bike tours, delicious dishes, friendly service, very good beers from our own production, rooms with new furniture, shower a bit small. Good starting point for tours on the Danube and through the Altmühltal.
