Extremely scary! Access to the room is through a construction site in the hallway with cables hanging from the ceiling. No hot water, no heating. Shower moldy. Open junction boxes in the room, generally the room was very shabby.

Absolutely run-down offshoot of the Hotel Residenz Passau!!!Schiehser Hotel Group3 "self-awarded" stars are a joke.We are extremely disappointed with the room! Musty and smells of mold.The water is cold and we can only take a quick cold shower after our bike ride. The heating doesn't seem to be working either. After calling (it took us 3 tries to get through to someone), a lady came over and said she knew about this and would take a look. Hardly anyone can be reached by phone and no one responds to our message.In addition, the rooms are in an extremely neglected condition.It starts with access to the room through a construction site: the ceiling panels are on the floor and electrical cables hang from the ceiling. I would be surprised if this were legal. Bunk bed in the room is an open box with high voltage cables. Very dangerous for small children.The carpet is very stained, the mortar is peeling off in one place, the shower has extremely moldy joints

I arrived with my parents after a bike ride. Parked the bikes in the courtyard, got the keys, went up to the room. On the way to the room the ceiling in the hallway was open and cables were hanging out. The room looked OK at first glance. Old but clean. However, if you are in the room for 5 minutes you can see stains and dents everywhere on the wall. When we wanted to shower the water didn't get warm and I would say it reached a maximum of 25°. The joints in the bathroom were partly moldy. After we called the hotline, they said they would send someone over to clarify it. After 10 minutes, someone came in right after knocking, put their hand under the water, noticed that it wasn't getting warm and said that they would send someone over. Nobody has come so far. When we tried to call (several times), no one answered the "24/7" hotline.When I read the review I was actually quite happy that we at least had a window and it wasn't noisy.Hotel is not recommended.

Horrible! A shabby mini room with no windows, only a skylight. The hotel is a dump.No warm water to shower, only on the 3rd day. TV didn't work, was answered apologetically after a call (no reception), but on the 4th day it still didn't work. Very noisy and dirty. There is a fancy coffee capsule machine there, but only one dusty cup for two people.The location is good, but even for that the high price is not appropriate.

Really overpriced.The single room is super small.Like in the chicken laying cell.Bed very narrow.70s ancient shower.In the bathroom there was even a plank of the wooden ceiling hanging halfway into the room.Rickety, worn-out hardware store doors so you can hear every word in the hallway.With self check-in for over €100 a night is really tough.Location is good.Otherwise there would only have been one star.50€ on the weekend would be appropriate.And for €60 on the weekend I wouldn't have said anything and rated it well. But for over €100 a night at the weekend I think that's cheeky.

Solid hotel right next to the main train station. Passau is easily accessible on foot. Lots of restaurants. Unfortunately the room was very bright and a bit cramped. Only self check in, no reception or anything like that. Bicycle parking space not locked and theoretically accessible from the street without a key.

Quiet Old fashoned, furnitures from the 70ties, light did not funktion, and a sevral mobile Handymasten directly over the geads of the guest / on the rooftop - that is a no go

I only chose this "hotel" because all other options were fully booked and I needed a room at short notice. The location was a good reason as I arrived by train. However, the central location also has clear disadvantages. My room faced the street, so I was kept awake at night by loud shouts from drunks, kicking trash cans, etc., then at 4:45 a.m. from the trash collection and at 7:30 from the construction site directly across from the room.The room was small but sufficient for me with a child. It was actually clean except for one big problem for us. There were several other roommates in the room besides us, and I counted a total of 8 spiders that were visible to us, which was really bad for my daughter who has arachnophobia and could only be solved with a can of insect spray. There were already some spider corpses in the room beforehand. The now dead creatures were not removed by the cleaning staff, nor were the remains right next to the coffee machine.The room was otherwise very clean, the cleaning ladies were also very friendly (when I caught them, I asked them not to leave the window open after cleaning because of the spiders), but for me a really clean room doesn't have any animal inhabitants no matter what kind.The room itself is not like the photos. The walls were painted gray (not nice) and yellow curtains with holes that were very old. The mattresses weren't saggy, but they were uncomfortable. I actually bought a pillow from the bed shop next door because the existing one caused an allergic reaction (mites). Maybe they were down pillows. I needed a new one anyway.The bathroom was very clean and in better condition than the room, but was so small that the toilet had you wedged on the sides between the wall and the shower cubicle. It's tight for me as a short woman, but not feasible for a tall man.Conclusion: You can do it if necessary. Because of all the spiders and the noise, definitely not for us anymore. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right here. (240€ for 3 nights without breakfast, without any service)

Self service works great!Rooms are OK, clean and functional...Air conditioning missing because it's summer... But at least there was a fan in the room.Therefore slept with the window open and from 5 a.m. there was constant activity and construction work on the street. Therefore, unfortunately a short night. Certainly also a snapshot

The bedroom was clean. The staff cleaned the room daily. You get a coffee maker and coffee plus carbonated water in the bedroom. Even though it is self check in, it was an easy process. The location is closer to the train station, shopping mall and shops.

I booked through Hotels.com and never received an email with the code, was worried all day since I read other peoples reviews and called them. I suppose I should be happy I did and got the code over the phone instead. Since I never got an email afterwards anyway."Check-in" was smooth, enter the code at the door and in a machine inside, get a key. Unfortunately I got a room against the street on a football Saturday in June, it was warm and loud outside until quite late. Close the window=warm, open the window=you hear every person on the street below.But the room was clean, close to the central parts of town and if not cheap then at least not extremely expensive.

I booked a room and I couldn't enter the hotel, the pin didn't work, I sat at the door with a small child and I called their number several times and no one answered, I don't recommend this hotel, so I paid, I had to look for another hotel. Scammers.
