We were very happy to have a pub in town again.BUT: disillusionment followed on the first and last visit:1) The host greets you very nicely and the service is nice and tries hard, but she only understands English and not everything2) Decoration: there are inexplicable, cheap cloths on the tables that keep slipping, and underneath there are such beautiful wooden tables that would be a hit without these cloths.3) When lifting glasses, the cloths lift -> Reason: the surfaces of the glasses stick because they are not really clean.Solution: mineral water from the bottle we ordered at the speed, then wiped the glasses and table, that's it (we didn't want to think about anything else)4) Ordered 1 starter (starter plate for 2):why is it called a starter when it comes with all the main courses and side dishes?Thank God it wasa) enough space on the table andb) the starter was cold, so it could be eaten as a “dessert”.5) Main course 1: Spaghetti Carbonaralukewarm, why is this dish made with olive oil? No wonder the carbonara doesn't bind, but rather drowns the pasta as a soup. It has nothing to do with the recipeMain course 2: Shrimp saganaki:Shrimp drowned in tomato sauce, not bad at all, it tasted okay. But the fact that you find the shrimp in the sauce and the entire shell on the tail is still there, it's bad. You can either remove the chitin shell with your fingers (nice mess) or with a knife and fork, unnecessary.Removing the shell would have been a task in the kitchen before drowning them in the tomato sauceMain course 3: Sea bream fillet fried on the Aut:That was good, delicious. However, why they call it "Provencal" and only add dried herbs to the top is unclear. A sprig of rosemary in the pan, maybe another sprig of thyme, then fry, all together with maybe a sprig of cherry tomatoes, that would be perfect. So it was loveless. Side dishes: basmati rice, fries, potato wedges? what culinary art.To fill you up, try a curry sausage, you can't go wrong with it?Sliced bland bratwurst, covered with hot curry tomato sauce (be careful, very hot, unlike everything else),and then the starter plate for 2:only convenience food:1) Humus -> bland2) probably zaziki -> bland3) green paste (parsley sheep cheese? went4) spicy paste, worked, although it wasn't clear what it contained5) 2 small stuffed pepperoni and peppersweetAll of this is available at Hamberger/Metro ready-made from plastic packaging, bland and bland. It's better to buy it in Miesbach near Atilgan, where all these dishes are fresh and well seasoned,The nice and attentive service was hopelessly overloaded, the boss sat in the corner most of the time and played on his cell phone, only greeted the 3-5 guests who came effusively, and then joked around with the employees in the yard, while the nice young lady Lady took care of everything (orders, drinks, food). And then the prices. We love going out to eat and never complain, but the experience was incredible: for so much money, 104 euros, such a bad meal? Never before.Carbonara for 14.90, warm, with separate sauce and olive oilShrimp, not properly prepared, drowned in sauce1 currywurst with fries for 9.90 euros, sticky glasses,We used to go there once a week (before Gorilla), but now never again. All beer gardens in the district or restaurants offer better prices with better quality (although that's not so important when it comes to good food!)And expensive main courses without anything to go with it, side dishes that had to be ordered separately, etc. No thanks. It's a shame, we can't imagine that "our host" will last that long. We won't be coming back. What a shame!!It is certainly a problem to find staff, etc., but the basics of kitchen technology and the understanding of use and service are lacking here; just greeting them in a friendly manner is not enough. There is only 1 star because I wouldn't have been able to post it otherwise
