We were only there with a SUP. At least there is a beach where dogs are allowed. Great view right down to the bottom. Lots of fish to see.

With just a cold tap and a kettle, we felt like time travelers in the era of tough camping warriors. The sanitary facilities were okay. For 50 cents you get 4 minutes of shower fun.The snack was fantastic and the crystal clear lake was a real gem. If you're looking for a lively adventure and aren't too squeamish about washing dishes, this is the place for you!"

The campsite is great. You can stand however and where you want. Staff is very nice. A very rustic and quiet place, everything is kept simple but very nice, with attention to detail... cool sayings 👍 we really like it, we'll definitely come back 👍 and above all the price is awesome...In addition, the nearby lake not only offers swimming fun, you can also rent SUB boards and pedal boats at a really fair price. There is also a small snack bar nearby... really fantastic... almost like in GDR times... and above all there is delicious soft ice cream...

A campsite that doesn't want to be anything other than a campsite. Always highly recommended 🤗There is everything you need - if it isn't there, you don't need it on a campsite. A place of peace, relaxation, perfect nature ☺️ the campsite also has a unique, iconic review page - amusing to read, not just on rainy days 🤣🤣🤣 many thanks to the always warm staff, to Kim Jong Un and Parsley Konstanze 🤣 🤣

Would you like to be yelled at on vacation? Do you like paying fines imposed by an angry and self-righteous groundskeeper?Then this campsite is highly recommended to you. An extremely unfriendly campsite operator also ensures that you don't get bored on holiday. A bad mood is still very important here. The presumptuous and cocky campsite owner will also turn your vacation into a real nightmare in no time.Next time I'd rather sleep under a bridge than return to this place again. Even being at work is better than spending your free time there.

Despite all negative opinions, we dared to visit the place. All I can say is that it was really nice. The service was excellent, the humor special and very entertaining. We'll definitely come back when we're allowed 😁😁😁

So unfortunately I can't say anything about retro camping, but I can say about the operator. I booked a week there and unfortunately had to cancel due to an illness-related emergency🥲. In a personal phone call, I found the boss to be very nice, understanding and accommodating. He pays me back my advance payment without any problems. Thank you very much for this at this point. But we'll come next year and take a look at Retro Camping. Until then ☀️

We were sent away after a long bike tour even though we had asked the day before whether there was still a place available. When we arrived at the place after a 40 kilometer bike tour, the other members of the tour accused us of a night-time break-in and we were sent away in an extremely unfriendly manner and then slept at a campsite nearby. The next day when we were at a bike rack that was at the camping site on a street that was a public area that had nothing to do with the site, the operator saw us and just said in an annoyed tone: "Now get out of here quickly !". Super unfriendly, perfect for the day and ruined plans, incomprehensible how the place has so many stars... I can't recommend it ever again or to anyone else! However, there are alternatives to this beautiful lake that are also nicer (and friendlier)!

We were there with a few friends after a long bike ride and just wanted to pitch our tents. Shortly beforehand we called and inquired, but we were sent away in an unfriendly manner on the grounds that the owner did not take responsibility because some of us were minors. Despite the mother's note, we had no chance and were asked to leave the campsite in a disrespectful tone.Ultimately it was a good decision not to spend the night there and not to give this campsite a single cent. The lake is worth the visit, but retro camping is definitely not.

Sent away again despite registering, the operator was extremely unpleasant and unfriendly, too retro for my taste. People who are too colorful and don't fit into the picture are simply rejected!!!

Staff Extremely unfriendly, blaming suspicions on untrue facts without evidence or signs (burglary was suspected in our case). If you are young people who come from a long distance away like us, don't go because they will call your parents but you will be rejected , the “only from 18” rule was never shown on the site.Overall, extremely unfriendly reception, never again!
