I was almost about to leave. It was full of men. Nobody shared my room. When i inquired if nobody had a booking in my room, they shown a list of guests to me to convince me that the other guests will be coming in later in the night.Whatever they said, sounded like a plot.It was difficult to trust that the other men who were sleeping in other rooms or walking around were not the friends of the men at the reception, but guests.This hostel was displayed as 'completely booked' online but I could see that several beds were free.It wasn't possible to lock the door of the room because all guests weren't in. When I expressed my discomfort, they offered a room-separator to me so that nobody knows I am sleeping there. They offered another room to me where others were already in a sleep mode. None of this comforted me.Then I sat there to read every single review i could possibly find online. In the end, I decided to stay.I woke up next morning all fresh, safe and happy.It seemed more like a small guest house. Hostel vibes were missing.Perhaps they could have focused more on cleanliness. The toilet could have been bigger. Shower area could have been separate for women with a lockable door.Location was perfect.I chatted with the man at the reception using translation app as they spoke only Turkish.

First of all, it was cold there. It's been cold summer days (~10° at night), so turned on heater would be very appreciated. Also, the blanket was thin. Maybe it was possible to ask for a second one, but I always have been coming back too late and leaving too early, the buro was closed. It's been especially cold in the shower, even though the water is nice and hot.Speaking of the shower - you won't like it, if you like privacy. The screen at the entrance to the shower is very unreliable, and if desired, you can peek through it if suddenly there is some bad person among the guests. I was told that the shower was better in the other part of the hostel, through the stairwell, but I didn't have slippers to go there.But the guy in the buro was really nice!

For this bargain price you'll be happy to come to Berlin. Especially because of the early check-in at 12 p.m.Young gentleman welcomed us very kindly. Had a short “tour” and we were able to rest after our trip. The bathroom/toilet is shared and is therefore shared with everyone. Rooms are comfortable and the cleanliness needs to be improved in places where the eye can't see directly (behind the bed, window etc).The hostel is surrounded by shops and is perfect for exploring the city and having peace and quiet at the same time.

The hostel is really very cheap and clean. It would have gotten more stars BUT:This hostel advertises on its website that it is for women only. A safe place for women traveling alone. Then I really don't understand how it could be that a half-dressed man barged into my room around 1:00 a.m. And why is he standing in front of the shower stalls in his boxer shorts in the morning when I want to go into the supposedly women-only showers?I have no problem sharing a hostel with men, but then it would be nice if there were at least separate showers, or even just showers that don't have a transparent glass panel...

There were BEDBUGS. Absolutely awful and we've spent a lot of time and money treating our belongings since getting home.Luckily we found them before going to sleep on our first night, but this left us needing somewhere to stay and paying up for a last minute hotel. There was no sign of remorse or apology from the man lingering around and appeared to be in charge. On top of the bedbugs, the mattresses had black mold and stains, the sheets and room were overall dirty and clearly had not been cleaned any time recently. I cannot stress, do not book this hostel, it's not worth the financial savings.

Very grateful since we had a problem with our train that was delayed 3 hours and they waited for us to check in. The hostel is what it is, no luxuries or comforts, but for the price it has, it is good for sleeping. It was clean and close to the central station.

My stay at the Mirhostel in Berlin was an experience that defied all known language barriers. If you have ever dreamed of experiencing the enigma of the Tower of Babel in the 21st century, this is the perfect place for you.Let's start with the good: the accommodation itself was surprisingly decent in terms of cleanliness and comfort. The rooms were reasonably clean and the beds offered decent rest. Nothing extravagant, but you can't ask for too much either.However, this is where things start to get...interesting. Apparently, the owner of the Mirhostel has decided to defy linguistic conventions and has established Turkish as the only official language of communication. German, English or other languages? No, thanks! Here the rule is clear: either you speak Turkish or you face a linguistic labyrinth with no way out.Communication with the owner of the hostel turned out to be a titanic task. Each interaction was a challenge worthy of the most extravagant intelligence tests. Trying to explain any problem or request information became a kind of guessing game, where our words were met with a friendly smile and a complete lack of understanding. In a sense, it is fascinating how the Turkish language becomes a universal experience for all guests, regardless of their language.If you are looking for a unique experience where communication becomes a fun and disconcerting challenge, the Mirhostel in Berlin is the perfect place for you. Prepare to face the enigma of the modern Tower of Babel while enjoying acceptable and clean accommodation.

It’s not luxurious, but for two people 41 Euros per day on Booking is quite an acceptable price. Shower, toilet and bed linen are clean. There is a refrigerator in the room and a shared kitchen. There is a metro within walking distance. The train station is 3 km from the hotel.

Based on other reviews, we arrived here with mixed feelings. The bed was shaky, but the room was clean and the beds were freshly made. The communal toilets (2) were very dirty at times, but were cleaned regularly. There was 1 sink and 2 showers right next to the washer and dryer. The cabins are narrow. The house looks run down from the outside, which continues in the stairwell.It wasn't enough to make you feel comfortable, but that wasn't to be expected for the price. Ok as a last resort, it wouldn't be for us for more than one night
