A beautiful accommodation right on Lake Mellensee and with the right rooms also with a view to the east over the lake - wonderful for sunrise pictures. The staff is friendly and the food is good and plentiful. The rooms are functionally furnished, some with a slightly older standard (e.g. classic shower cubicle without ground level entry) - although there are also disabled access and ground level rooms. There are excursion destinations in the surrounding area, with trips to the Beelitz Heilstätten or the Spreewald. For partygoers you would have to go to Berlin or Potsdam.Taking a boat (for rent) out on the lake in the summer is definitely really nice too. The area is rather quiet, but as we all know, that's a matter of taste. We'll definitely be back, thank you for the great time.

We stayed in Morada at Mellensee for 1 week/mid-September.My wife was often on holiday here in Klausdorf during the GDR era and we wanted to see what had changed in 50 years. Our room was fine, cleanliness and service okay. The staff, like everywhere else, was very limited, but always friendly and attentive. The location right on the lake is perfect and ideal for excursions. Anyone who books this hotel should know that it is not Halligalli, but rather a quiet and scenic environment that invites relaxation and excursions.Apart from everything else, we don't want to complain, we just want to give a few useful tips. The breakfast is okay and completely sufficient. We come from Thuringia and are used to good food, but also not unnecessarily spoiled.Unfortunately, the offer in the evening (when booking half board) is very spartan and unimaginative. We were expecting regional and local food for a "Brandenburg evening". Bratwurst with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes, chicken legs, an unappealing selection of sausages and a 3-piece salad buffet, which was extremely vinegar-heavy, didn't really round off this evening.Maybe taste it before serving, hmm.Tastes are different, no question, but there is a lot of room for improvement! Please no ready-made meals, less canned food, a tomato or cucumber salad like at home shouldn't be a big problem and can be made quickly, right!?I work for a large healthcare company with over 100 hospitals in Germany. We cook freshly and ourselves every day for our residents, as well as for outside catering, including kindergartens, etc.I know there is another way! Finally, we would like to thank the entire team at Morada Mellensee for, despite everything, a very pleasant, relaxing holiday!

A typical Morada 3-star hotel, beautifully located on the lake but otherwise "far from the beaten track". Without your own car you are pretty much cut off from the world.Once there is enough.

Here since 8/26/24. On the third day no bed was made, nothing was cleaned, no trash can was emptied, I had to complain about toilet paper. …

Highly recommended for a short vacation. Berlin is only 50 km away and the lakes have beautiful beaches. The hotel staff is very friendly and the rooms are very bright and friendly

Not a worse hotel ever seen.Apart from the bunch of spiders that live there (yes, it's on the lake. You "maybe" have to deal with that), the stay was a complete disaster. Sockets in the room didn't work.Inadequate lighting. The room apparently had some water damage as the ceiling was a bit moldy. The breakfast buffet includes baked rolls of the cheap kind. The vegetables had apparently been lying around for several days because they were dried out.Jam that you can buy in the supermarket by the jar for €1.20. Cold cuts from the supermarket. The coffee was okay so far!The receptionist was really pushy, just chatting or smoking the whole time. Will definitely not go to this hotel again.

I was here for a short stay with my family. a child-friendly place next to a large family space with a playground, a lake and a beach. the hotel is quite large, you can see that its glory days are behind it, but it is definitely a very nice guesthouse
