Exceptional German hospitality

Past midnight and can't sleep because of thumping music from bar downstairs. Very unhappy and annoyed.

Fabulous hotel. Perfect location. Rooms are beautiful. Service is beyond, everyone is so nice and helpful. The front desk staff could not be more friendly or helpful.

The hotel was very clean, quiet, and beautiful. Close to tourist area and nice restaurants. Staff were very friendly and provided great service. Joakin was great and went beyond my expectations to assist me with my day trips itinerary.

Disastrous experience. On August 18, 2024, I injured myself in the sauna at this gym when I came into contact with a poorly installed sprinkler system. The sauna was pitch black and the ceiling was so low that it was almost impossible to avoid bumping into it. The facility was completely unsecured, which not only resulted in a painful burn on my shoulder, but also a permanent scar.Worst of all: I was told on site that this had happened several times before, but apparently management did nothing to eliminate the danger! There were no first aid materials nor any form of help or apology from the staff. This complete ignorance of guests' safety and well-being is shocking.I strongly advise everyone not to visit this studio. The operators show no sense of responsibility and you risk serious injuries here.

Location is convenient, rooms are generously sized, design is nice, not special, but overall experience wasn't great.Despite having privacy sign out for my room it was cleaned!Amenities are terrible, bottles broken, can't dispense product etcPoured myself a tea in apparently a broken cup - my goods incl laptop soaked in hot water.Last day put out the sign to have my room cleaned - came back to an unchanged room only to find 2 new cups on the desk, nothing cleaned.I brought this to front desk but no note or anything from the management. For this price I expect something different.All my colleagues who stayed here also had issues.There are so many better alternatives in Berlin.

Air conditioning doesn’t work and the management of the hotel is reluctant to offer a solution that can fix that. The original room was dirty when we first checked in and we had to change it. The problems remain and we have a long stay. I don’t recommend this hotel.UPDATE: the manager approached us and was very kind and understanding, genuinely trying to help. We were moved from the 6th floor to the 3rd in the room of the same category. The rooms of higher category were discussed but were not available as the hotel was fully booked on the weekend. The AC was finally working at the new room. Apparently, despite the great views of the upper floors, the air conditioning is not working properly on the 6th and 7th floors in some rooms (we tried two rooms there). The lower floor didn’t have the same unobstructed view, but the ceiling was higher and the room felt more spacious.Overall, after switching into the third room after two nights, the AC issue has been resolved. We were also offered a free breakfast for the duration of our stay as a gesture of good will.I’ve updated the original 1-star rating to 3 stars as many issues could have been avoided on the first place. Not only the AC, but the leaking water from the shower, not working soap bottles in all three rooms we’ve tried. And I whisked the communication was more clear from the start as we were told that the technician will check the AC and we’re waiting for that but it turned out that the tech can’t fix it and that was the fault of the building. It could have been resolved more quickly and without the stress. Thank you though for trying to help us with out stay! We have 4 more nights to go.UPDATE 2: the hotel went above and beyond to make up for the initial issues and make our stay better

This hotel is beautiful and the location is unbeatable. There were tons of hiccups during our stay, but Joaquin went above and beyond to make the rest of our stay worthwhile. Thank you.
