I stayed at East Seven hostel back in November 2023. I had a great time and the hostel was very comfortable, clean and organized. There are big windows and there was always fresh air flowing in the rooms and hallways. Thank you very much to the stuff that was very kind and friendly at all times

The hostel is very well located, the metro is two minutes away, you can also walk to Alexanderplatz, there are several restaurants around as well as a supermarket.The staff is super friendly and willing to help, they offer snacks in the morning which is a plus and some days they have family dinners where you share with other travelers.You can leave your backpack if you arrive before check-in, a great experience with them.

Honestly, amazing, there at list 3 days with free dinners. Good bedrooms, fine localization, nearby to the metro/tram, etc. Recommend.

I have spent years and years travelling and trying hostels all over the world. But this hostel is top notch, its epic. Its super clean. The staff are absolutely amazing and so friendly. Its social and there are opportunities to party but its not crazy party so I would say a little for everyone. I am now 40 and met people of all age groups which I liked as I didn't want to be that old guy in the hostel but there is still a young crowd if you do want to go out and party. Great kitchen for cooking. Great common room. And also patio is incredible. The rooms were very spacious and bathrooms always accessible. I will absolutely go back. Oh and about the area. So easy to get around, its a super nice and super safe area. And a few options for public transport.

I stayed three days at EastSeven and I am very satisfied. The hostel is located in walking distance to the main tourist spots and U-S bahn. The people working there are friendly and the rooms, bathroom and kitchen are clean. Good value for the money.

Speaking solely about the double private rooms, these are truly an awful value. They are 143 euro when, as an example, the Intercontinental is 206; they have a shared bathroom and are quite loud. …

A perfect stay. Everything very clean, very well organized. A kitchen with all the necessary utensils. A dining room with a very cozy atmosphere. A television room, video games for the youngest ones. And everything was very well organized. I liked it a lot.

I’ll reserve my comments about anyone else; however, Max was excellent at customer service. He was ever attentive with anyone, resourceful, and helpful beyond imagination. I also met some awesome people during my stay. Although, it’s kind of far from the “center”, it’s still has a lot of good restaurants and stores around it. I’d go back. I definitely recommend it.

This hostel is amazing. The location is close to the city center and you can reach famous landmarks on foot. The rooms are comfortable and the staff is super friendly. The only thing I would suggest is for rooms to have a full body mirror :)

The beds, rooms, communal areas, pantry, toilets are all very clean. Just to mind you that one needs to climb the stair to 3rd floor, not good for big & heavy luggage.

This hostel is not a good value, the rooms are very expensive for what they are and very cold. It's very social, yet many people were sick and there isn't really air ventilation anywhere. After a night of not sleeping because they had run out of blankets, I booked a hotel and the manager refused to give me a refund for the remainder of the stay (I was only asking for half of the stay refunded, not even the entire time) because "being cold isn't a good reason" and said she could put an extra heater in my room at some point. I asked Caroline why the staff hadn't told me that, and she said "a lot of staff are volunteers and they don't know these things (?)." Staff should know, volunteer or not. Overall I'd pick a place that was a better value for the money to be honest, I booked a private and a small room for $130/night with shared bath and synthetic blankets as well as curtains that don't cover the cold air or the sun, it's not a good value.

Hostel was in a great location, staff were friendly and they had events going on - the beds and rooms were clean and comfortable the only thing is the bunks do not have curtains but more importantly they are very incredibly flimsy meaning that if the person below or above you moves a milimetre it shakes the whole bunk and also if anyone walks past the bunk shakes, so you may not have a good sleep. Apart from that it was great :)
