Room not recommended if you have problems with tight spaces. On the toilet, your knee is directly at the sink. Shower with shower curtain is not up to date. Absolutely not recommended for €136/night. I've stayed there cheaper and much better

Would you recommend Apple City Hotel? This question is not that easy to answer. It depends on what expectations you have when making a possible booking (also influenced by the other reviews). The hotel has the following advantages to offer:* perfect location to explore Berlin. You can explore Berlin pretty perfectly from the TURMSTRASSE subway station. The direction doesn't matter. You can reach your destination quickly anywhere. From the tram stop you can get to the main train station in just a few minutes. You don't need a car here* If you as a guest have forgotten your travel items, need a supermarket or are looking for good fast food restaurants, then you are well advised here. DM, Rewe, Kamps, various organic markets & fresh markets and fast food stalls are within walking distance* We were able to spontaneously rebook the room on the day of arrival without any problems* the breakfast buffet is extensive and you will definitely be fullWhere there is light, there is of course (unfortunately) also shadow:* the rooms are EXTREMELY noisy (probably due to the extensive use of plasterboard). This means that you can definitely hear snoring from the next room and listen to loud phone calls. It gets a little scary when several people have (obviously) argued late into the night and you have no idea what's going on there* the room doors are extremely loud when you close them. This could definitely be regulated for fire doors. Using normal keys with chunky wooden tags (very inconvenient) makes a lot of noise when locking and unlocking. In 2024, in a city like Berlin, you're a little surprised* the rooms do not invite you to stay for a long time or relax (see above). They are simply too small for that. The CD equipment is also rather simple (there are no goodies such as bottle openers or a bottle of water as a welcome gift. We couldn't figure out what purpose the two drinking glasses served). If, like us, you want to watch a DFB-11 international match on ZDF, you will initially be disappointed. The TV program consisted of channels that were unknown to us. Only connecting a smartphone to the TV could solve the “problem”. Simple is different. Wifi connection was ok. The bathrooms are extremely small. We had two rooms and the ventilation in both bathrooms didn't work. After going to the toilet and after showering, this is already suboptimal.* When booking via apps you have to be careful about what you book and what you don't book. I used the app “Vio”. That's where I ended up at Agoda (?). I wasn't aware of the fact that you had to book breakfast EXTRA as I had booked according to the text on the hotel's homepage ("breakfast included"). We also had to pay something like a “tourist tax”. This means that when we arrived we (4 people) had to pay an additional €190If you don't care about the disadvantages mentioned, then you can book here without hesitation, all other people should then look elsewhere.

Nice hotel, rooms are a bit smaller but well furnished, has everything you need and a fair price. It is also very centrally located with good connections to public transport. But I have to make some deductions for the lady at the reception, who is a bit unfriendly

The hotel is ideal when visiting the city when you want to get to know the city and just sleep at the hotel. Breakfast is good, there is no parking and it is 0.7 euro / 15 min in front of the hotel

The WiFi is a big sad joke that didn't work, other than this I did not get what I've booked :( the staff was not helpful nor friendly either. If you want to take a shower, I'd suggest you do it last thing before checking out because your room would be flooded. Not worth the money, in my opinion

Very good location! Subway, tram, bus, shops, bars, snack bars, restaurants...everything nearby. Breakfast is acceptable, service is ok. The rooms (especially the bathroom) are too small, without air conditioning, and the interior is pretty worn out.

Where do we start here?I would say the only good thing was the check-in, which worked smoothly for me within five minutes. Now to the room, which can't really be described as such, as it resembled a storage room. If you leave this out now then I can say it was clean and neatly furnished. However, it is clearly far too warm in these rooms and with this small fan, which only runs for 120 minutes, it is not possible to bring the room to a temperature throughout the day that you can endure in the evening. In terms of location, it is really well connected as it is very close to the center and there is a subway station (Turmstrasse) and a tram station in the immediate vicinity. What I don't understand at all is that when the price per night is €74, they also ask for additional money for breakfast!? What's that supposed to mean? In the cheapest hotels in the world I get a reasonably decent breakfast for €50 per night. Why not here? All I can say about the staff is that they consistently leave a disinterested and bored impression. However, the nighty was absolutely unfriendly and didn't give any information when asked. I actually just wanted to know if there was a Späti nearby. He apparently didn't know, even though it was right next door. Poor performance.Late checkout is only possible against payment, which I don't think is so bad. I paid €20 for two more hours. So it's not really recommended, but if nothing else is available then you can tolerate it for one night there.

Nice hotel in close proximity to the subway. Quiet and simply furnished room. Was visiting here for the trade fair and will use the hotel again as an overnight spot. Recommended
