Hello. We were there - as parents of a few whirlwinds where one of them needed special attention and care, as full-time workers and now here as a couple. A little break from everyday stress was planned, a special cozy experience to reconnect as a couple.Like I said, that was the plan.It started full of anticipation.The disillusionment came upon arrival.Once across the backyard we went to our home. And that of others. Privacy is zero. Five barrels, placed a little staggered but still close together. There you live other people's lives.But hey, let's go for the adventure. After all, I strictly stayed away from my mouth this weekend and it was supposed to be something very special. Not only “we-time” but this also served as a gift for my husband for his big birthday.When we were told that breakfast costs €14 per person, my face fell asleep. Cannot be booked via Check24 but can be booked on site. A rogue who thinks evil.No matter, we take care of ourselves. There are plenty of shopping opportunities in the surrounding area.We enjoyed our first evening in the city, even though the weather was moderate. But we knew that we had cool accommodation - despite the proximity to our barrel neighbors. It didn't matter that there was only one toilet and only one shower per gender and you had to go through the back yard to get there. But the camera always had a full view of you - nothing could happen.At least the sanitary facilities were clean.Doesn't matter. Now we were looking forward to a cozy night for two. The banging and booming from the music speakers in the neighborhood doesn't really bother you. It wasn't a bad thing that this could be heard until well after midnight. But night sleep is overrated anyway.After my husband asked the operator about this nightly sound system the next day, he didn't know anything about it. Well, that could be true. We still had one more night. So let's start again.Spent the day back in the city, went back to the barrel late in the afternoon and got ready for bed straight away. After all, more people were waiting for the evening hygiene routine.Everything was fine until we really wanted to sleep around 10:30 p.m. Zack - was the same neighbor having the same party as the night before??? How can that be? As I said, you wouldn't know anything. Sleep was slowly possible around 3 a.m. But as mentioned above, night sleep is overrated.When asked at checkout, we didn't know anything again. Nor about the different conditions that you have and that seem to differ from those booked and those of the operator. It's the parking fee, which we declared to be free, or the checkout time. Opinions differed there too. Somehow always in favor of the operator. At least as far as the financial aspect is concerned.All in all, this offer is definitely not to be considered a hotel. Camping flair is more like it. And the prices are completely excessive and too expensive.We booked, paid a lot of money and were unfortunately disappointed. Thanks, but no thanks.

A slightly different overnight stay.The barrels are mainly suitable for sleeping. If you stay for a long time and the weather is bad, it is too small to stay in for long.There is a washing container for all guests of the barrels. Equipped with a shower, a toilet and two sinks for ♀️ and ♂️.We booked breakfast and were very satisfied. There were two rolls per person and plenty of cold cuts, orange juice, coffee or tea as well as an egg and a dessert.You can easily reach the old town, the harbor and the train station on foot.So if you like camping, have nothing against small eight-legged friends and can imagine waiting five to ten minutes in front of the toilet, don't need WiFi, like to cuddle and prefer a mattress, this is the right place for you.

Beautiful location with a special sleeping experience. The staff is very nice and it's not far to walk to the train station or the center.There was a bit of a lack of light in the barrel in the evening/night. There is only a small lamp above the entrance door, so it is quite dim near the head of the beds. Impractical if you want to play in bad weather, for example. A reading lamp at the headboard would be great, but unfortunately it wasn't available at the time of our visit.In my opinion (despite the heating) it is only suitable for the summer as there is not much space in the pickle barrel. There is no table inside, just two small seats for one person each. Booking.com says there is a "desk", but at least there wasn't one in our barrel. So when the weather is bad, all you can do in the evening is go to bed (which takes up 90% of the area) or to a restaurant or something similar.All in all, it was very nice for us when we visited in August (2 nights with three days of good weather).It's definitely an experience

Coming here in summer is a fun and stress-relieving place. There are clean public toilets here. The breakfast is rich and cheap.(Hpay Life Circle visit here)

Service: absolutely unacceptable!The customer is NOT king here.1WCx for women & one for men, with 6x barrels. Faucet with cold water & 5-second stopper makes washing your face almost impossible, smelly, lint-filled towels, no WiFi, the table in the barrel is more of a ramp & we sweated our asses out at night in the spring. Dinner was simple & manageable, breakfast ONLY from 9 a.m. & an absolute joke, also not very relaxing because the service staff was constantly running around (wiping dust, sorting away bottles, etc.). We were assigned seats even though the entire restaurant was empty. When asked to sit somewhere else, the arguments were outrageous and incomprehensible.Wouldn't recommend the location or the restaurant even to rustic campers. You can definitely get more service for the money elsewhere.

We had an overnight stay. Was a new experience. Slept very well. The staff in the restaurant is very nice and friendly. The hotel is very centrally located and the harbor is within walking distance.The information on the parking lot sign, "parking free for hotel guests", is incorrect because a €5 parking fee was charged.

Had an awesome experience there! Good memories
