They all made sure that headphones I had forgotten at the hotel found their way back to me. That's great - thank you very much for that!

Cozy hotel with a great design. As soon as you enter the lobby, things look promising. Checking in was quick and easy. The rooms are cozy and clean but, in contrast to the rest of the hotel, quite simply furnished. I'm missing a few little extras here like a kettle with coffee and tea or something similar. The rooms are also relatively narrow, but well thought out with storage space for clothes etc. The bathroom is relatively small and narrow, but was very clean. After showering, however, there is moisture in there, which is also noticeable in the mold between the tiles. Beds are super comfortable. We had a very comfortable night there. The bar on the ground floor also has a lot to offer and is professional. Of course with a corresponding price. The breakfast was very tasty. The quantity is manageable but the quality is very good. I would have liked something like scrambled eggs, but everything else was there. The cappuccino was very tasty and there are four coffee machines so there is no traffic jam in front of it. Super! Price for breakfast is ok. Check-out by 12 p.m. as standard and breakfast until 11 a.m. is definitely a plus. In terms of location, the hotel is quite central and easily accessible via Wittenbergplatz. Would definitely book here again.

I chose the hotel because of its good location, arrived earlier than the room was ready, was warmly welcomed and was offered a coffee. I was able to move into the room earlier.Modern, attractive design in the lobby, bar and breakfast area.Overall very satisfied.

I'm actually a Motel One fan and have stayed in various cities. Unfortunately I have to say that I liked this hotel the least. The reason for this is the comparatively carelessly designed rooms. It had more of the charm of a storage room and I don't know that from Motel One. The mattress was also far too soft for my liking. It was also annoying that the cleaning staff probably took cigarette breaks outside and the smell wafted through our hallway every time. The friendliness and the attentive, friendly service at the bar are positive. The breakfast was okay. Location is also great if you want to explore the west of Berlin.

The location is excellent. The legendary KaDeWe departement store is literally around the corner. Good transport connections to the underground and buses.There's no safe in the room. No proper chairs. No wardrobe, only shelves. Loud drilling noises on Monday morning.

The hotel and the rooms seem to be getting old. The carpets and curtains should be replaced in my opinion. The bathrooms too. The selection at the breakfast buffet is very manageable for €16. If you want to sleep with the window tilted, you should definitely ask for a room at the back as the street in front causes a lot of noise. But the window closed ensures absolute peace.

Not recommended – disappointing stay at Motel OneOur stay at Motel One was marked by several unpleasant experiences that we did not expect:1. Unpleasant situation at breakfast: A homeless person sneaked past the room number query unnoticed and helped himself to the breakfast buffet for about 20 minutes. The strong smell of urine and beer forced us to change places. We informed the staff, but nothing was done - the man was able to leave unmolested. The behavior of the staff here was absolutely unacceptable, and the hotel's safety and hygiene concept must be seriously questioned.2. Broken ventilation in the room: The ventilation in our room was broken, so we had to open the window. Unfortunately, there was a loud demolition site right next door, which made staying in the room very unpleasant.3. Shabby room: The room itself was clearly past its best days and already looked very shabby - a renovation was urgently needed here.4. Cleaning lady took deposit bottles: The cleaner took our deposit bottles without permission - outrageous behavior that should not happen in a hotel of this category.5. Poor parking garage management: The parking garage did not offer the possibility of flexibly entering and exiting, which was very inconvenient for us.6. Room cleaning below standard: The cleanliness and care of the room did not correspond to the usual standard that we know from Motel One.7. Unprofessional staff at check-out: At check-out, the staff were rather annoyed and simply dismissed the issue of the homeless person by pointing out that this was a general problem in Berlin. It should be self-evident for a hotel to enforce house rules - but here no responsibility was assumed. We would have expected an apology or at least some understanding, but that didn't happen.The only positive aspects of our stay were the charging station in the underground car park and the friendly bar staff, who managed the entire area on their own until 9 p.m. on Friday evenings.All in all, our short trip was marred by these experiences. The city of Berlin is beautiful, but we would neither visit this hotel again nor recommend it to others.

If the zoo is full we book at the Urania. The staff here is also very nice. Sometimes even “Berliner” is wonderful. The bar is very well equipped and also very attentive. Unfortunately you can't sit outside nicely, but it's possible. Always very quiet. Unfortunately, here too the parking garage has quite ambitious prices. Screw it, the location is just too good!

Fine for one to a maximum of two nights. Then it's best to do it during the week and not on the weekend. Very well attended due to the sensational location and affordable prices. I was in Berlin during a training course and my employer booked this hotel for six nights. The room or primarily the bed was through! So we slept very restlessly. Fan in the bathroom doesn't work. Accordingly, odors could not be removed. That's why you do or have to open the window. The kicker is that there are no wardrobes in the rooms. Instead just shelves. Where do we live? The whole thing rounds off the highly praised breakfast. For a total of 16 or 18 euros (I forget the exact price) you can get everything else like eggs, bacon, etc. What you're used to. Only cheese, cold cuts, etc. There is nothing more for 16-18 euros.But if you don't value it, you will be rewarded by being only a few meters away from the Ku-Damm!!!!!!All the staff (except for the greasy gentleman at check-in) were helpful and nice.

Good hotel with good staff. The breakfast is good. What's difficult is that you can only charge for the underground car park on a daily basis. Well located, about 8 minutes from the Wittenbergplatz subway station and the KDW. Buses also run in the immediate vicinity.

I stayed there for a week. All Motel One rooms are identical. Small but sufficient. Very quiet at night. All rooms without a refrigerator but with air conditioning. Bathroom was clean and breakfast was okay. Reception nice. Underground parking €20 per day. Location right on Kurfürstendamm that says it all.

Central location and very nice staff. The lobby is very stylish with a bar. The breakfast is excellent, much of it organic.Good insulated windows, therefore quiet despite the central location.The room is very small, there is no closet, just a shelf and open clothes rail. Bathroom also small with poor ventilation. Only one trash can - this one in the bathroom without a lid and trash bag... I personally find it unhygienic. Unfortunately, I'm also very noisy, I can't help but listen to my neighbor talking on the phone :-(, I'd rather sleep.... Since the rooms are important in a hotel, only 3 stars...
