The stay in this wellness hotel was very pleasant. The pool area was clean and well maintained, ideal for relaxing. The sauna area was also impressive, with a good selection of different saunas. The treatments were professional and the staff were very friendly. The food was not only very tasty, but also varied thanks to the daily changing menu. Overall, a recommendable address for a relaxing break.

First of all, there is not only criticism. The staff was extremely friendly and tried very hard. The beds in the "suite" were a pleasant size, the mattress was great. The menu was very manageable, but the selection was tasty! Flopp:The layout of the homepage was so promising and the anticipation was huge. As soon as I arrived I was worried about my car. The “road” to the “parking spaces” was a disaster! At the entrances there are cobwebs and dirt from the last 10 years. The inner window frames in the hallways are dirty or covered in mold. Our suite smelled strongly musty, so we had to constantly ventilate it. The outdoor pool didn't invite you to swim at all and you didn't want to light a fireplace in the fireplace room (restaurant) because of the few guests. Completely exorbitant prices and absolutely incomprehensible!

So we canceled the vacation. Driving 250 km for a dirty hotel Thanks for the reviews! How can something like that be declared fabulous?Cobwebs on every ceiling including SPIDERS, dust, crumbs on the table and on the floor in the restaurant!Unfortunately, the pictures on the internet have nothing to do with reality.So thanks for nothing!!!!

The hotel is located directly on the lake, embedded in the beautiful landscape. There's not much going on around it. It is therefore an ideal place to spend quiet days, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The wellness areas in the pool house and main house are very nice, especially the SPA area in the main house is recommended. There is a suitable offer for every taste. I liked that water and various types of tea were available for free use. Direct access to the lake is also very good.

We stayed in the pool house, it's a very nice hotel. The food is very tasty, the staff is very nice and helpful. We also took advantage of the wellness offers, cosmetics and massages were all great too. The grinder was also tested and found to be very good. The sauna area and the fitness studio are second to none. There's really nothing to complain about, we'd love to come back.

The hotel is probably from the 90s, some of it looks really frightening and run down. The many construction sites in particular don't make it any more attractive. Likewise, some things are not properly maintained and are getting old. The restaurant food is completely excessive for the location and absolutely not worth the money. The spa area is nice, but here too the “wellness showers” don't work, the water tastes chlorinated, whatever you can drink, and there is no type of salt or peeling in front of the sauna. Likewise, no infusions or anything similar. It seems more like there is a lack of staff. I would absolutely not recommend it.

The hotel was booked for the second time. We were there once in March a few years ago. The next hotel is under construction, some of the paths in front of the hotel have not yet been made. We missed someone who put away the cushions a day later Wet from the rain on the loungers or lying next to them on the meadow the day before. You could have cleaned the dirt from the small outdoor lamps. Everything in the hotel was perfect as usual, the food was very good, especially the many types of bread. This time we had a ground floor room , where the view is not so good, my bed smelled a bit under the freshly made bed linen. The bathrooms, which are always differently designed, are all beautiful, the wellness area is an experience for the senses. The fitness area has been expanded. You always take away different impressions and experiences. It was nice.

A really great hotel complex with 2 buildings, each with a wellness area, in the pool house with a heated outdoor pool and in the main building with a warm indoor pool or lake access. However, massage rooms and the dining area are in the main house, which makes it "inconvenient" to stay in the pool house in bad weather...

The two of us were there for a week.The friendliness and flexibility at reception is remarkable. Both a short-term postponement of our stay due to illness and a spontaneous extension (with a room change) were no problem.When it comes to rooms, it depends on whether you are staying in the “Seehaus” or the newer “Poolhaus”:The rooms in the Seehaus are quite old-fashioned and outdated, but the view (1st floor) from the balcony is wonderful and you can enjoy wonderful evening sun and a view of the lake.The pool house is new, modern and designed in the style of beach houses in the Hamptons. Everything is very chic and the first step into today's times.The SPA area is great in both the lake house and the pool house. Everything is well maintained, clean, furnished to a high standard and equipped with stations for tea and cool water.Both the indoor pool (lake house) and outdoor pool (pool house) are recommended.From the hotel's own jetty you can go swimming in the lake or rent various boats.There are various seating and lounging options available on the meadow on the bank and on the jetty to spend the day in sun or shade.The breakfast is plentiful and everything you would expect from a 4 star hotel, but nothing more.The dinner in the restaurant was tasty, but for us the price and performance didn't match.The terrace is recommended at any time of day in summer.An alternative is the Bistro Mahlwerk, where you can enjoy simple and delicious self-service style dishes at moderate prices.The grinder is also the first thing you see when you arrive. After that, the impression unfortunately becomes a bit mediocre, as the complex still exudes the charm of bygone times, including a crumbling concrete slab path, artificial turf and unkempt outdoor areas, as well as a "bed house" that looks exactly like it and was last seen a few decades ago brought amazement.The partially poor maintenance condition of the outdoor areas is one of our biggest criticisms, which does not do justice to the 4 stars:These are unkempt, dingy loungers and seating, leaves and dirt on the terrace, dirty facades and windows covered in cobwebs and flying creatures, dirty tiles at the outdoor pool and the general impression that no one really cares. This is complemented by the current construction site, which is also quite unkempt with a toppled construction fence and chaos.That's a shame and detracts from the overall impression.Nevertheless, this hotel is a little insider tip, very quiet, great for anyone who is looking for relaxation and a SPA and wants to switch off for a few days.We'll be back.
