We spontaneously booked a room (online) on our return journey from Poland...the day before...Everything worked out perfectly, clean room, good staff, delicious breakfast, everything for a great price,If you're spontaneously looking for an overnight stay for two days,,, great,,There are few parking spaces, that would be the only thing you could complain about if you wanted to complain...PS a black house cat is also on site (laugh)...

The rooms were terrible. First of all the rooms were late. We should have been given access when we arrived but we were only given access at 6 o'clock in the evening. Once we were allowed into our room we found underwear on a bed and the room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in at least a month. We didn't have enough towels or sheets and had to go to reception to ask for it. And when we did, they took an extremely long time to get our stuff and they had very bad energy and they kind of didn't want to help. The food was tasteless and dry. There was a blockage in the drain in the shower due to all the hair from previous guests. No ventilation and if you showered, the whole room was damp. The beds made a lot of noise and they were just uncomfortable.Lots of other classes and a tall aunt lived there. On the last day, the ambulance had to come and pick her up because she was so drugged. The whole experience was just bad.Would NOT recommend this place to ANYONE. Not even my worst enemy!I will NEVER stay at this hostel EVER again!

Cool hostel from the a&o group in the typical a&o style. The technology on my bed was okay, but unfortunately the others were defective, as is often the case with a&o. Very friendly reception. The entire house makes a solid impression and is conveniently located in the Berlin neighborhood of Friedrichshain. In the evening it's perfect for going for a stroll and stopping off at one of the many restaurants. From time to time it is very loud in the house. This is due to the excess energy of the young kids in school classes who really go crazy when they have free time. You just have to go through it...lol. But overall it's mostly quiet after 10 p.m. I've always had a good stay in this house. 1 star deducted because of the often defective USB and lighting systems on the bed and the ceiling light that is simply too dark. (It's so dark everywhere at a&o... why?) But otherwise everything is great👌👍🏻✌️

Very dirty rooms, lots of young people there who don't show any consideration for others, are very loud and leave their rubbish in the elevator

Yes, where to start? The food was tasteless and boring. A bit like the ready meals in the fridge at ICA, not exactly wrong but not good. Breakfast was like morning recess in primary school. The rooms were very dirty and yet I got the best room out of everyone in my class because some rooms had left behind socks, vapes, dirty blankets and sheets. My room had "only" pubic hair in the shower, dust and an unknown stain on the floor. The house in general was very sketchy and the ventilation in the corridor made it hot and stuffy. It should be added that on our last night, the ambulance had to come and pick up a drunk aunt who was knocking on people's doors in the hope of finding the right room. That probably speaks for itself. So if you want to live among school classes and homeless drug addicts, this is your dream. Strongly recommend.

Nice hostel where families will also be happy. For the price everything is reasonable and OK.If you don't expect luxury, a sumptuous breakfast buffet and stylish rooms, you definitely don't expect anything. If you want to live cheaply close to the center (via S or Reinobalbahn every 10 minutes in the center), you're not wrong here. Depending on where the rooms are, it can be a little louder, especially towards Boxheiderstr.

Were in an a&o hostel for the first time. We spontaneously wanted to rebook a room again, which worked without any problems. Breakfast was high quality and plentiful. In the room, the curtains were usable but already damaged in places, as were the USB charging sockets and lamps on the bed, the wiring of which was defective or not plugged together. The hostel is well connected to public transport (tram).

I booked a room for myself, but the quality was disappointing. You could hear everything happening in the hallway, even when someone opened their door. On top of that, the room wasn't very clean. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The first problem arose during the booking process. We had a voucher through voucher-wonderland that promised us two nights including breakfast. …
