++++Great location, very helpful and friendly staff. Hospitable 12pm check-out. Great panoramic views on the upper floors. Great bar on the 10th floor- - - no own parking garage, rooms very small, spartan breakfast, I particularly missed scrambled eggs, unripe bananas, breakfast plate very small, noisy street at night

The only positive thing in this hotel/motel is the location and design. Too high rating.The rooms are small and dirty and old, tv was not working one of the nights, toilet was running constantly, the soap pump was broken. And the top was a manager or security that stopped us in the lobby to prove to him we are from the hotel?! Extremely arrogant and disrespectful: I pay for this hotel, so I can enter in it, right? I read in the comment that this is common practice because of the rooftop-bar, when it is full, they stop people because it is too full upstairs. I can give you tip, Hotel Motel one, in order to improve your security, you can set your elevators with cards, no-one external to be able to go in the hotel levels….

Disappointing! We had been looking forward to staying here for a long time, but unfortunately we were very disappointed. The reception - extremely chaotic and overwhelmed during check-in and check-out. The view from the room on the 12th floor was poor (you looked into the wall or the rooms opposite). We were reserved a room with a better view, but in the end the reservation didn't work out and the alternative was the 3rd floor. Shower couldn't be regulated, air conditioning was broken. Disturbing noises constantly came from the wall. Walls are also very noisy. Price-performance: bad. Once and never again!

This was my second time in the Upper West and this time I wasn't entirely convinced. The room is great, a special one on the corner towards the Kranzler. Much more space and a great view. The whole hotel has a great design and appearance, except for the very dark entrance area (you can't call it a lobby)The service staff in the bar and at breakfast were very nice. The breakfast itself, for 17 euros, was very sobering after three days. The most disappointing thing was the lack of choice in the buffet: exactly the same for three days. No fried eggs, no scrambled eggs, no bacon, no vegetables except tomatoes. No choice of cheese except Emmental and Gouda sliced cheese. No fish, especially no salmon. Sausage and ham are all sliced goods from the wholesale market.There was also no kettle for tea or coffee in the rooms. There was no proper cupboard and no glasses.For a marathon weekend at just under €300 a night (without breakfast) that's too expensive.

Great located hotel. Very clean and very friendly service.The room was big enough for a weekend, for one person. There is far too little space for clothes, even for one person…Breakfast ok, not the largest selection and in my opinion too expensive, at €16.90.Because of the marathon it was in the hotel and overnight, which was absolutely sufficient and the price for one night, well, since it was a marathon, was expectedly high. 200 € for one night is pretty decent, it's also Berlin, Kurfürstendamm and marathon weekend.

Demanding over 300 euros for an overnight stay in a tiny room just because there is an event taking place at that time is a disgrace!For this price I have stayed in a suite in a better hotel in Berlin!
