Great place! Can only recommend for anybody who needs to stay in Berlin for a few days and doesn't mind a smaller room. It's quite literally "Klein aber fein" (small but fine). The owner was really nice in the messages and we had no problems getting into our rooms and getting comfortable. Theres three bathrooms in total and I recommend taking slippers with you since the floor by the toilets can quickly become wet after showering. Still 5/5, would definitely come by again whenever I'm in need of a place to stay at.

I came into the house and room with codes, unfortunately I found 3 beds made through, none of them prepared for me with fresh bed linen. So it's better to take a sleeping bag with you as a precaution, I felt like I was in a better homeless shelter, which wasn't what I expected from the reviews and pictures!Staff is not on site and cannot be reached by phone or message... you are on your own and your roommates...I was lucky to have 1 bed... without bed linen and with foreign roommates. When I was there there was no one who spoke German and only a bit of English! It seems to me more like cheap accommodation for people from Eastern or Southern Europe...I strongly advise against spending even one night here! The bathrooms smelled of urine, the shower is right next to the toilet. Everything calcified and with yellow and brown edges.Smoke detectors in the room have been removed, but there is a cable box with a dead fly on the ceiling....I entered the house and room with codes, unfortunately I found 3 empty beds, none of them had been prepared for me with fresh bed linen. So it was better to take a sleeping bag with you as a precaution, I felt like I was in a better homeless shelter, which I didn't expect from the reviews and pictures! There is no staff on site, and I couldn't reach them by phone or message.I was lucky to have 1 bed... without bed linen and with foreign roommates, when I was there nobody spoke German, and only broken English! It seems to me more like cheap accommodation for people from Eastern or Southern Europe...I strongly advise against spending even one night here! The bathrooms smell of urine, the shower is right next to the toilet.Smoke detectors in the room have been removed, but there is a cable box with dead flies on the ceiling....

The hostel was not bad for the price, but I do think it has several things that could be improved. Nelly, the host, was very kind to me despite not speaking any English and made a lot of effort to communicate with me which is appreciated.

The host was very nice and helpful. The sheets and towel smelled good. One star less because the toilets weren't the best and since there were too many guests, too much noise, I felt a bit cramped.

It's not a place that a young person expects. We wanted to spend more time outside not to stay for a long there.A stupid decision with a shower/toilet zone, no exactly explanation about opening doors, these stupid rules about staying without shoes. It could be okay if it was clean there. And it's really very far away from the city centreYou can live there only from 14:00. It's not comfortable to walk around with all the stuff when you come to the city at 3:00

It's cheap but I don't recommend at all, there is a modern and clean hostel 100 meters in front of it, it's cheaper.Unfortunately, the beds are dirty and there is only one small public toilet.Very poor security.A hundred meters further, there is a cheaper and modern hostel

Bed bugs gave me a rash in my leg. Super dirty bathrooms that smell like pee and where you can barely move because of how tiny they are.Old bread left overs it’s what they offer for snacks and breakfast. Shady place and neighborhood. There is a bar/shisha bar next to the hostel and it’s extremely loud. People throwing up the whole night and screaming. The hostel is far away from everything. Beds are extremely uncomfortable, super hot in summer. The lady managing it was blaming me for the bed bugs when it was me who had to ran away at first sight of them. She told me how people usually leave her hostel and look for excuses for refunds.Well… that says a lot about your place! Please avoid this expensive headache. In the end I had to book another hotel which was expensive because it was for the same day and ended up paying up double. I learned, that whoever pays cheap, pays twice. If you filter by negative reviews in here or booking, you’ll see what I am talking about. I honestly don’t understand the rating. Such a scam!
