The sight of a snow machine (large parts from ski resorts) in Berlin really shocked me. Why do we need a machine that wastes so much electricity and water in Berlin? I can't approve of a bit of luxury, shitting on the environment like that

We had very positive experience for our summer family vacations at Ferienpark Rübezahl.This small vacation complex is well situated and very well designed. Super convenient parking lots at the house entrance. Direct and fast route to Köpenick, and further to the city center.Müggelheide, the forest around the Müggelsee lake is very nice and calm, one can take long walks, runs or bicycle rides. There are several beaches, which are just fine, just don't expect the sand and water to be the same as on a sea shore :)Our house was in good shape, and designed particularly well as a vacation house. The air conditioning was very efficient, the sauna was working very well and was clean. Convenient beds, dishwasher in the small kitchen. Very quite at night, didn't have any noisy neighbours.I got an impression that it is better not to rely on the (only) nearby restaurant. One can eat in the city, or bring something from the supermarket.There are several things one needs to learn (deposit, entrance code, washing machines use ...). But in the end, everything worked for us and made sense.All-in-all, a great place in a quite and fresh forest, just 10 min drive from the civilization.

We were at the holiday park over Easter 2024.Basically a beautifully located complex.When you arrived, you were initially greeted unfriendly and literally played for a fool because you couldn't immediately find the code for the gate.The employee also seemed very sulky and listless, but luckily we didn't see each other again after that.At first glance, the accommodation seemed very nice, and the extras such as the sauna were also very pleasant.But if you looked closely you noticed how unclean the house really was. Dirty dishes, dirty corners, walls were painted halfway up with a completely different shade of white, etc. So everything was pretty poorly cleaned and maintained.There wasn't even soap or toilet paper on site, and there weren't even a few simple pillows on the sofa. The furnishings are very sparse and listless with no attention to cozy details.The biggest shame about it is that you have to pay almost €100 for the final cleaning, but you actually have a long list of requirements and so you clean the house almost alone.When vacuuming, you could easily vacuum under the beds, so it was strange that it wasn't dust mice that could be vacuumed up under the bed, but almost wool elephants.Absolute impudence, you have to pay dearly for final cleaning even though the tenant actually does it himself and then it's still dirty because the Polish cleaning crew leaves the houses every time after 10-20 minutes.As beautiful as the facility is, the service and cleanliness and the hidden requirements and costs are just as bad.After all, anyone who goes on vacation and pays a lot of money doesn't want to "live" worse than at home.

Rip off! Lots of additional hidden costs that you find out on the day of arrival. Electricity and water are read and calculated before and after. Never experienced it anywhere. You can also pay for WiFi per day/per device. For the price you pay, it's an absolute disgrace! The house is not necessarily well equipped either. The service includes fresh towels - it's great that we didn't have any. Also no soap in the bathroom. There was baking paper, but it was nice that the package was empty. The first cupboard we opened also came towards us. One car is allowed to park in front of the house, the rest have to go out. There is parking outside, but it is not fenced in and partly. far too far away if there is nothing free in front. Hygiene as described by predecessors - well. Goes better. The couch looks pretty gross. There are also no pillows on it and they are sagging. There is definitely zero comfort for the people who have to sleep on it! There were 8 of us in the house and there were 6 chairs at the table. Raclette is forbidden on New Year's Eve - you can't communicate beforehand. We could have saved ourselves having to take it with us. The sauna is quite nice, 4 people fit in it. The surrounding area is nice, but we definitely wouldn't book here again.
