You can tell from the greensplash-decorated fittings that this hotel has seen glory days.The employees are all very friendly and accommodating. The wine selection leaves nothing to be desired. The areas of the hotel are a real olfactory experience.

We've visited the restaurant, not the hotel. The service is wonderful and welcoming. From the nearby motorway you have a few minutes cross country and then through a suburbian quarter, finding ample parking and a beautiful old style building with a romantic country style interior.

We celebrated our wedding in the Alte Bergmühle last weekend with around 60 guests, including a free wedding ceremony. The terrace where the wedding took place is surrounded by shady trees, which was worth its weight in gold on a hot August day. The meal took place in the covered courtyard, so that we could still be outside comfortably even when the rain started at night. Ms. Emmer decorated the wedding ceremony and the tables wonderfully with fresh flowers and made a wonderful bridal bouquet for me. The food and the wedding cake were excellent, the service was incredibly attentive and warm. The Bergmühle also offers several lovingly furnished rooms, which we and some guests were very happy to use. The communication in advance went smoothly. You can tell that people put their heart and soul into the work here. We'll definitely be happy to come back and can only recommend the Bergmühle!

A somewhat outdated, partly winding hotel with romantic flair (vintage fittings), four-poster bed, super friendly staff, high-quality breakfast buffet, covered courtyard, bar with TV monitor and Sky ⚽️. It was the second time there and I would come back at any time.

It is always a pleasure to visit the Alte Bergmühle. A cozy atmosphere invites you to linger. The welcome was warm. At lunchtime there is a menu with daily recommendations as well as a lunch menu that I chose. A sparkling wine as an aperitif started my lunch. Since I also like to eat soup, I added the beef consome to the 3-course menu. The dishes were prepared very tasty. The food came in a pleasant time order. The recommended rosé for the main course went well with it. All in all, it was a successful lunch and I will visit the Alte Bergmühle again.

Our room was decorated in a very unique style. The only things that bothered us were outdated electrical cables and non-functioning sockets. We slept excellently on the mattresses (both of us had “back problems”)! The breakfast was individually prepared with care and the service was extremely friendly. Thanks for that. 👌

My mother and I spent two nights in the Alte Bergmühle and were very satisfied. The furnishings and layout of the rooms are wonderfully nostalgic and really cute. The beds are incredibly comfortable (I don't think I've ever slept so well in a hotel bed) and the bathrooms are clean and nice.We weren't able to try out the restaurant - because of the quiet times - but the breakfast on Sunday morning was definitely okay. What particularly struck me was the warmth of the lady who served us at breakfast. She was very approachable and recognized us throughout the day. That was really lovely, thank you very much for that :)I can recommend the Alte Bergmühle to anyone who is looking for a place to stay overnight in Dreieich. Thank you very much for your hospitality and warm service!

Eleven of us had lunch there. When I made the reservation by phone, I registered four vegetarians.When we held the weekly menu in our hands, there wasn't a vegetarian lunch listed. The disappointment was great... when we asked, we were offered three different vegetarian dishes to choose from... and there was also a small starter on the house. That and the quality of the food made us very happy.Thank you for the good (spontaneous) service.

It's a shame that no pictures can be uploaded.- Apart from a few third channels, ARD and ZDF, no other channels- The TV is a disgrace- I'm still waiting for the fruit plate- Rips in the bedsheet- smelly bathroom- Sink drain ripped off- Faucet defective- Toilet seat broken and chipped

We only visited the restaurant. The atmosphere is very nice and the rooms are tastefully decorated. The service is very friendly and accommodating. On warm days/evenings you can sit outside, protected from the wind. Ample parking spaces.

Visiting a trade fair in Frankfurt is interesting but also tiring. But here we almost feel at home and find the appropriate relaxation in between.

Yes, it's Valentine's Day, but we were with my girlfriend's dad because it was his birthday, in his mid-80s. We were seated at 7:15 p.m., got the main course at 9:15 p.m. Until then there was a tasteless greeting from the kitchen, bread and butter. You had to wave again and again to be served, okay it was a lot to do. The sommelier was very keen to sell his drinks... We learned disparagingly that there was no Prosecco but only cremant, okay (the sound/look makes the music). On the whole we found the young man to be quite bold.When the food finally arrived after 2 hours, we were disappointed. My duck breast was tiny and the birthday child's carpaccio was a rocket salad with a few pieces of ham around it. Instead of ravioli, the friend got the lamb's lettuce that we also had. Not wanting to wait any longer to get the right food, she kept it. When we complained about the long waiting time, we were subsequently told that a hotplate had broken down, and we would have liked to have found out about that earlier. The waitresses were super nice and actually apologized from the bottom of their hearts afterwards and gave us some jam, but we still won't come here again. The price-performance ratio is simply not right.We came especially from Darmstadt. At least there is plenty of parking space in front of the door.Edit: since my portion wasn't filling, I asked for a second helping of mashed potatoes, and yes, that was served without charge, just before we paid and left.

Refers to going to a restaurant on Boxing DayThe restaurant is nicely located. Friendly reception. Unfortunately the price/performance ratio wasn't right at all. There was a tasteless greeting from the kitchen with some bread and butter. We all ordered schnitzel. What was served was a children's schnitzel portion dark brown with a handful of fried potatoes for €24. The price is still somewhat acceptable for a good schnitzel, which unfortunately it wasn't. The staff is focused on making drink sales and this is where things started to get a bit rude. The bottle of seltzer mineral water for 8 or 9 €. The 0.1l fruit cocktail for our daughter without alcohol is eight euros etc. Open red wine 0.2 €12. Too bad, too bad. You feel ripped off. A bright spot was the staff, they were all very friendly, just focused on drinks sales... I was asked at least five times whether I - as a driver - would like to drink a wine after the glass of champagne...…. So unfortunately not a recommendation!

The food has been very tasty on all visits so far. There is plenty of parking space directly at the mountain mill. The service is very professional and friendly. The price level is high. Always my pleasure.
