Hotel Gudrun

We can only warmly recommend the Hotel Gudrun.The house people are extremely friendly, very accommodating and helpful.The handicapped-accessible room is very nice and functionally equipped - of course it always depends on the individual case. I am paraplegic and constantly rely on a wheelchair. However, I am quite fit and move around with a maneuverable active wheelchair.The bed is the optimal height for me (approx. 55 cm high); It's a bit short for my height (190 cm), but that's not a problem as it doesn't have a foot section that could get in the way. We found the mattress to be very comfortable - not too hard, but not too soft either.The walk-in shower can be accessed by wheelchair, and there is also a shower seat that can be hung up. The toilet can be approached from the front and from the right side (viewed from the front), and there are folding support handles on both sides.The sink is accessible and the mirror is very easy to see.The bathroom door is a glass sliding door.The room door is difficult to move because of the reset device, but this is due to German fire protection.The breakfast was also rich for us vegetarians and very attractively presented as a buffet. There is the usual coffee machine and a selection of good teas. The soft-boiled eggs are cooked fresh for each guest!The breakfast room is bright and cozy. If anything is needed, the boss and her support are always there.The large, locked bicycle garage, where the batteries can be conveniently charged, is also great.Overall, a very good price-performance ratio!We felt very comfortable there and will certainly stay there again.And: We can also recommend the Rosengarten restaurant - very friendly hosts who can't hide the fact that they really enjoy their work. The food is also very good!

Lovely hotel with friendly owners and staff. My room was spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The hotel is located a short 5 minute walk from the centre of the town. The hotel is well set up for cycle tourists with a secure garage for bikes.

A very modern and well-maintained small hotel in which you are warmly welcomed personally and warmly by the owners. The rooms are very spacious, modern and well maintained. A bottle of water is available free of charge. For a reasonable price you can buy drinks from a fridge. The breakfast is good, the staff is very friendly…. There are many reasons to stay at this hotel again and again!

We stayed at the Hotel Gudrun with a larger group of cyclists. When we arrived wet and dirty, there was a hose waiting in front of the bike garage to hose off the worst of the dirt. This excellent, very friendly and truly personal service continued from registration through the stay to departure. From the first moment we felt like very welcome guests.The rooms are excellent as is the rich breakfast.The path leads through the garden to the Rosengarten restaurant, which is also worth a visit.The Hotel Gudrun is definitely recommended! Great recognition!

Small, quiet hotel just outside the center. The rooms are well equipped and very clean. The breakfast buffet selection is sufficient and always fresh. The reception was extremely friendly and the service was excellent. The rooms are all very quiet as the hotel is in the second row. In front of it is the Rosengarten restaurant, which is connected to the hotel. Double rooms with breakfast are available for €116.The hotel is one of the bicycle hotels recommended by the adfc and has its own bicycle garage.Free parking directly at the house.

Clean and well-equipped hotel

Beautiful hotel built in 2019. Good quiet location. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds and practical bathroom; everything very clean. A garage with charging facilities is available for bicycles. We were able to hose down our dirty bikes and luggage outside. Breakfast was good and rich. The host couple is incredibly friendly and helpful.
