Perfect location in the center of Bad Waldsee.The food was very tasty. The service is occasionally overwhelmed. According to the statement, this is due to the lack of staff.We were 2 couples and wanted to pay separately. That wasn't true at all. Apparently we had to pay the same amount down to the cent. That made us suspicious. There was then a difference of 15 euros.

Incredibly noisy... I'm lying in bed at 10:45 p.m. and in the room next to me I've been hearing every word on the TV for two hours... how are you supposed to sleep like that?

Cleanliness of the room 2/5There was hair in the corners of the bathroom, which wasn't just from the last guest.Cleanliness in general 3/5Furnishing of room 3/5Peasant House Stiel (wood but covered with crocodile leather, why?)The room is incredibly poorly lit. It was almost impossible to read in the evening.And the worst thing was that the room was 100m away from the main house. So you had to waddle through the rain to get to breakfast.There is soap and shampoo in the bathroom, which from my personal point of view don't smell that good, but that's very individual. However, the hairdryer in the bathroom is only mandatory for the 3 stars. The mild breeze dries hair almost as quickly as without the hairdryer.Breakfast 2/5There was a selection, but not particularly clean here. Above all, a moldy spread was reported to the staff, whereupon it was removed after a thank you. In my opinion, one could have apologized here and offered a fresh one. During the hour that I sat at breakfast, no one cleared the surrounding 6 used tables. That doesn't give a well-groomed impression either.Even if the machine didn't seem particularly clean, the coffee was actually my morning highlight - to say something positive here.Parking 1/5In addition to the fact that the room was not directly at the main building, there were only 6 usable parking spaces at the hotel. 2 parking spaces were occupied by parasols. Other parking options include public parking spaces, some of which are 250 m away from the main building.Miscellaneous:Check-in is until 10 p.mI let you know 2 days before arrival that I would be arriving relatively late. However, I was called shortly after 9 p.m. asking when I was planning to come. Also a bit unpleasant.There is no water in the room either, but there is a fairly expensive minibar.Fascite:For almost 90€/night incl. I think breakfast is a 2/5 from a price/performance perspective. Unfortunately not really recommended.You should put some love into this again.

On my culinary discovery tour through Bad Waldsee, I came across a real gem in the picturesque city center.The friendly staff were extremely accommodating and happy to accommodate any special requests. On sunny days, the outdoor terrace is particularly recommended and invites you to linger.The dishes were convincing across the board: The spare ribs were a revelation - perfectly marinated and so incredibly tender that not only the meat but even the bones fell apart when touched. You could easily eat the entire dish with a fork - a true masterpiece of smoking. The accompanying coleslaw harmonized wonderfully with it. The fried chicken impressed with its juicy meat and perfectly balanced breading. The potato and cucumber salad on the side was refreshing and homemade.As a crowning finale, I enjoyed a Kaiserschmarrn, which skilfully rounded off the meal.Conclusion: If you appreciate good food in a cozy atmosphere, this is the place for you. A clear recommendation for foodies and everyone who wants to become one!

I only rate the gastronomy and it was good. A good gravy, fresh salad with good dressing. The potato salad was also good, that was good. The sausages are a matter of taste, so I would like to remove them from the rating. The service was quick and nice.

The hotel is very central. We really enjoyed the a la carte meal. It was nicely presented and the service was very good. We wouldn't stay there again. We were there at the beginning of August in very warm weather. Our room number 4 was completely overheated. The existing ceiling and standing fans did not provide any cooling and were far too loud. Especially the rickety ceiling fan. The outside blinds couldn't be closed completely because there was an absolutely useless plant box on the outside window sill. There was a smell of feces coming from the bathroom; The bathroom was clean, but perhaps due to the age of the house/the pipes, the water in the siphon constantly sank, so that the sewer smell flowed into the room. The room was overcrowded with too much furniture. The function of the two large armchairs and the large table and all the decorative frills and confusion were not explained to me. I would have preferred it if you could have moved around in the room to some extent. The breakfast buffet was very good. I would eat there again at any time but never stay there again.
