We have a holiday apartment here and feel completely at home!Our hosts are friendly, are available to give us advice and support and most importantly: we are very welcome here with our baby and dog!!!!Our apartment is large, bright, super clean and cozy. My friend and I had a great stay at the Hotel Teutonia. It is located on a side street. The hosts were super nice and we could laugh with them. They were very accommodating to us; we were able to check in later and check out later than the specified times without any problems. Our room was super clean. There is also coffee etc. free of charge at any time. We are very satisfied and grateful for the hospitality!

Dear Harz vacationers,First of all: I actually wanted to rate the Hotel Teutonia with 5 stars, but an incident occurred that now forces me to give this bad rating. However, I ask that my text, which is now getting longer, be taken into account in full.Due to a surprising weather situation, I had to spontaneously find a place to stay overnight at short notice and was given a very friendly welcome by the innkeeper last night at 9 p.m. Since I had an important work meeting today at 11:30 a.m. that was scheduled to last 30 minutes, I asked the evening before whether it was still possible to use the WiFi in the house during that time. I was told yes.Up to this point today I was very satisfied: great house, great garden, very friendly innkeeper, very sweet dog 🥰, great & clean room, extremely good & large & delicious breakfast!The meeting now took place at 11:30 a.m. Unfortunately, the innkeepers had told me that morning, in what I thought was a very unfriendly manner, that it didn't suit her well because she had to vacuum. Unfortunately, she didn't say that I should please hold my meeting somewhere else... Which of course would have been an alternative for me... either a mobile hotspot or somewhere else in Braunlage...So instead I sat in a corner of the dining room with headphones on. It happened as it had to happen, the doctors overstayed the meeting and at 12:15 p.m. I was unfortunately (in my opinion) thrown out the door by the housekeeper...I then continued to take part in the very important meeting on the property with my phone and if that wasn't enough, the lady came out and said she had to insult me ​​because I was disposing of my cigarette ashes on her property...All I can say is my condolences to the innkeeper…Please take your own picture, maybe you'll be lucky and not meet the nice lady...Update:Unfortunately, I have to add to the comment I just wrote because the innkeeper, who had previously appeared friendly, came to my car again when I shamelessly left cigarette ash on public property outside the property:Unfortunately, I was insulted several times and therefore cannot make any recommendations for the Hotel Teutonia…Among other things, I was threatened with being told here that I had shared work internals at a loud enough volume. When I explained to him that unfortunately I didn't have the presence of mind to use my headphones from the start, this was dealt with straight away...What can I say, now I at least understand why this hotel, in contrast to the neighboring hotels, is virtually empty despite the festival in the immediate area...

Super friendly hosts. Very cozy. Great breakfast. Lots of parking spaces. Great location! Tea kitchen with drinks fridge.
